Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging Residency Position
The Department of Clinical Sciences (Diagnostic Imaging Section) of the University of Liège,
Belgium is opening a position for a 3-year ECVDI residency (Small Animal Track), starting October
1, 2016.
Pre-requirements are the completion of a one-year rotating internship or an equivalent practical
experience. Knowledge of French language is required in order to interact with students or intensive
language course must be followed. Sufficient knowledge of English language is also required.
The Diagnostic Imaging Section is equipped with CR (by Agfa) and DR (Digivex Medex flat panel),
ultrasound (MyLab ClassC, Aloka alpha 10, Aloka 3500), CT scan (Siemens Somatom 16-Slices),
Standing Equine MRI (Hallmarq) and angiography (C-arm angio unit Philips) on site.
The team is composed of 2 ECVDI diplomates, 2 senior clinicians, 2 residents (1 small animal and 1
large animal), a diagnostic imaging intern and 2 technicians.
The candidate may continue in a PhD program after the residency.
Deadline for application is June 17, 2016. Application should include a letter of intent, 2 letters of
recommendation and an updated curriculum vitae. After a preliminary selection, the candidates will
be asked to come for an interview.
