Catherine Anne Kunz est spécialisée dans le domaine de l’arbitrage international. Elle conseille aussi
régulièrement des clients en droit des contrats, droit des sociétés et droit commercial.
Catherine Anne Kunz est intervenue en tant que conseil ou arbitre dans de nombreuses procédures
arbitrales, en particulier dans les secteurs de l’énergie, des télécommunications et de la construction,
tant dans des procédures ad hoc que dans des arbitrages administrés (CCI, LCIA, SCC, UNCITRAL
et Swiss Rules), dans des litiges soumis à diverses lois procédurales et de fond, dont les droits
suisse, anglais, espagnol et russe.
Elle siège au comité de rédaction de la revue juridique de l’Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage, le
Bulletin ASA et a été nommée représentante régionale (Europe) pour le LCIA Young International
Arbitration Group (YIAG) en 2016 pour une période de trois ans. Elle est également membre de
plusieurs autres associations professionnelles, dont notamment l’Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage
(ASA), l’ASA below 40, le Young Arbitrators Forum de la CCI (YAF), l'Ordre des Avocats de Genève et
la Fédération Suisse des Avocats.
Avant de rejoindre LALIVE en 2016, où elle avait précédemment exercé en arbitrage international et
contentieux (2010-2014), Me Kunz a travaillé dans le département d’arbitrage international de
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Floms LLP à Londres (2014-2015). Elle a complété sa formation au
sein de BCCC Avocats Sàrl (2008-2010) et a également travaillé en tant que juriste en arbitrage
international auprès du bureau genevois de Winston & Strawn LLP (2006-2007).
Catherine Anne Kunz est titulaire d'un Master en droit, magna cum laude, de l'Université de Fribourg
(Master bilingue français-allemand avec mention droit européen). Elle a également étudié une année
à l'Université Humboldt à Berlin. En 2007, elle a obtenu un Certificat en International Business
Transactions with Chinese Characteristics dans le cadre du Cornell-Bucerius Summer Law Institute à
Suzhou, Chine.
