COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this review course, the
participant should be cognizant of:
- the exfoliative and non-exfoliative (including
fine needle aspirations) cytomorphologic
features of neoplastic and non-neoplastic
lesions of the female genital tract,
respiratory tract, urinary tract, body fluid
cavity, cerebro-spinal fluid, lymph nodes,
breast, thyroid, head and neck regions and
intra-abdominal organs

various body sites discussed

aspiration cytology

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This review course will include didactic
lectures on all topics, followed by
microscopic sessions during which
the participants will have an
opportunity to review a large number
of teaching sets. During the
laboratory sessions, the participants
will have an opportunity to discuss
cytologic problems with the
lecturer. Unknown cases will be
used to stimulate discussion.
This course is directed at the
healthcare professional who
wishes an update in the field of
Cytopathology.
