Introduces the new Popcorn Hour S-300
digital signage solution
Fremont, CA. January 31st 2012 – Syabas Technology Inc., a leading global
distributor of digital entertainment solutions, is excited to announce the latest addition
to the Popcorn Hour product line. The Popcorn Hour S-300 a small-sized and
powerful digital signage solution utilizing the latest Sigma Design’s SMP8671
chipset.
The small, fanless design offers a flexible solution for displaying full 1080p HD video
and photos. In addition to supporting video, photos and lossless audio there is
support for weather, twitter, and RSS feeds in a multi-zone format. The Popcorn
Hour S-300 comes with a 4GB USB drive for local storage or can play a centralized
playlist on the network. With the included PC application playlists can be scheduled
to run on certain days and at certain times.
The Popcorn Hour S-300 supports HDMI, VGA, and stereo analog audio output.
Local storage is available through the two USB ports and content can be played over
the network via the 10/100Mbps LAN connection (WLAN optional). An included infrared (IR) receiver and remote control offer convenient local operation of the device.

The MSRP for the Popcorn Hour S-300 will be €249 in the European Union
(including VAT) and $219 for those elsewhere. The Popcorn Hour S-300 will be
available in April 2012.
