The Antenne Internationale is
a group of young adults from all
countries and backgrounds who
want to defend the principles of
Amnesty International.
If you would like to join our organisation, you will be part of a group
of people who share a vision of a world without unnecessary suffering.
Our main aim is to unite people who may not speak the same language,
but who share the same ideals. Meetings will be held in English and
French.
We carry out actions to raise awareness of selected human rights issues. Actions are designed so that even those only staying a few months
in Paris can play an important role.
Here are some of our points of interest:
Control Arms Gathering signatures for a petition supporting an international treaty for stricter controls on the arms trade, the lack
of which fuels conflict, poverty and human rights abuses worldwide
Torture The so-called "war on terror" has led to an erosion of fundamental human rights, highlighted by the increasing use and
acceptance of torture. We campaign for an end to this new trend

Les réunions sont tenues en anglais et en français. Les actions que nous
menons sont pointues. Chacun joue un rôle important même si sa présence
sur Paris est pour une courte durée.
Nous agissons sur le terrain en faisant un travail de sensibilisation et d’action autour de plusieurs thèmes:
Contrôlez les Armes L'absence de réglementation du commerce mondial des armes est alarmante, permettant que des armes soient vendues à des gouvernements répressifs, à des auteurs de violations des
droits humains et à des criminels
Torture "Le but de la torture est de nous faire taire tous, pas seulement
ceux qui sont torturés mais nous tous que la torture effraie au point
de nous rendre passifs" Nous continuons à se battre pour un monde
dans lequel la torture sera universellement considérée comme totalement inacceptable
Stop violence against women focusing on ending violence against
women in the family and in conflict/post conflict situations, and
campaigning for the creation of a world in which women and
girls are afforded their basic human rights

de guerre, les femmes sont victimes
d'atrocités pour la simple raison

Abolition of the death penalty We oppose the death penalty because it is a violation of two fundamental human rights: the right
to life, and the right not to be tortured or subjected to any cruel,
inhuman or degrading punishment
