DELIVERY REPORT; MARCH 2015
FRANCE – MARSEILLE TO MENTON
This month’s Yachting Pages Delivers packs were delivered in conjunction with Yachting Pages Media Group’s
family of products to capitaineries, business and of course the yachts, this included:• The luxury hard backed Superyacht Owners’ Guide 2014-15 (SYOG)
• The Yachting Pages Refit Guide 2014-15
• Yachting Pages Directories 2014-15 (both the Mediterranean edition and the global box set)
During this time the distribution also coincided with the MYBA Charter Open Day in the Port of Nice, no less than 10+
significant yachts ranging from 25m to 54.4m participated on Thursday 27th March. These ‘Open House’ days offer brokers,
yachting professionals and service company representatives chance to inspect the yachts for sale and charter, meet the
crews and yacht managers and network professionally in a relaxed setting, with more time available and far less pressure
than a full-on yacht show and of course they also saw copies of the Yachting Pages Delivers packs!
The details;
• Capitaineries and businesses
We delivered Yachting Pages Delivers packs to the yachts on this distribution trip and the Capitaneries received top-up
deliveries of our own publications.
• The yachts - Amazing 655 Yachts were delivered to!
This is one of the largest numbers of yachts ever reached in one single trip.
A significant proportion of these yachts were in shipyards along the route. It was clear to see that all of Monaco Marines
facilities, and other key yards, such as IMS in St Mandrier and DCNS in Toulon were virtually full to capacity.
This is the traditionally busy time in the Mediterranean, just before the start of the summer season, but these nearly full
shipyards indicate positive signs reflecting the state of the superyacht industry for the coming year.
It was also very apparent that those yachts not in the yards, were just starting to ‘wake-up’ after their quiet ‘winter
hibernation’ in their resident winter berths. Transom Lockers were clearly being cleared, sorted and cleaned, ‘crew wanted’
notices at the end of the passerelles, drums of engine oil being pumped through to the engine rooms, fuel bunkering in
progress.
The photographic Proof of Delivery (POD’s) can be made available to you - please speak with your Account Manager if you
would like these.
