Pursuant to Article 30, paragraph 1.a, of the Convention, the Federal Republic of Nigeria will not provide any form of assistance in relation to the taxes of other Parties included in the following categories of listed taxes in Article 2, paragraph 1.b, of the Convention: i. taxes on income, profits, capital gains or net wealth, which are imposed on behalf of political subdivisions or local authorities of a Party; ii. compulsory social security contributions payable to general government or social security institutions established under public law; iii. E. taxes on the use or ownership of motor vehicles; iv. taxes in categories referred to in sub-paragraph iii above which are imposed on behalf of political subdivisions or local authorities of a Party. Pursuant to Article 30, paragraph 1.b, of the Convention, the Federal Republic of Nigeria will not provide assistance in the recovery of any tax claim, or in the recovery of an administrative fine, for all taxes. ANNEX A – Taxes to which the Convention would apply Article 2, paragraph 1.a.i Personal Income Tax; Company Income Tax; Petroleum Profit Tax; Article 2, paragraph 1.a.i Capital Gains Tax; Article 2, paragraph 1.b.iii. ANNEX C – Definition of the word "national" for the purpose of the Convention Any individuals possessing the nationality of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and any legal person, partnership, association, or other entity deriving its status as such from the laws in force in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Conformément à l'article 30, paragraphe 1.a, de la Convention, la République Fédérale du Nigéria n'accordera aucune forme d'assistance en ce qui concerne les impôts des autres Parties inclus dans les catégories suivantes des impôts listés dans l'article 2, paragraphe 1.b, de la Convention : i. impôts sur le revenu, les bénéfices ou les gains en capital ou l'actif net qui sont perçus pour le compte des subdivisions politiques ou des collectivités locales d'une Partie ; ii cotisations de sécurité sociale obligatoires dues aux administrations publiques ou aux organismes de sécurité sociale de droit public ; iii. E impôts sur l'utilisation ou la propriété des véhicules à moteur ; iv. impôts des catégories visées à l'alinéa iii ci-dessus, qui sont perçus pour le compte des subdivisions politiques ou des collectivités locales d'une Partie. Conformément à l’article 30, paragraphe 1.b, de la Convention, la République Fédérale du Nigéria n’accordera pas d'assistance en matière de recouvrement de créances fiscales, ou de recouvrement d'amendes administratives, pour tous les impôts. ANNEXE A – Impôts auxquels s'applique la Convention Article 2, paragraphe 1.a.i Impôt sur le revenu personnel ; Impôt sur le revenu des sociétés ; Impôt sur les bénéfices du pétrole. ANNEXE B – Autorités compétentes Le Ministre des Finances ou un représentant autorisé du Ministre. ANNEXE C – Définition du terme "ressortissant" aux fins de la Convention Tout individu possédant la nationalité de la République Fédérale du Nigéria et toutes les personnes morales, partenariats, associations ou autres entités dont le statut en tant que tel provient des lois en vigueur dans la République du Nigéria.
