1 Starting the Installation
Before You Begin...

If you have a network configuration (not dialup), connect Network Client and
Intellex on the same network node (same subnet).
For Intellex IP, a dedicated network is recommended.
See your System Administrator before connecting Intellex units to your network
and accessing them from Network Client workstations.
Close all running programs.
Log in with administrative rights, either as a member of the network domain
administration group, or with local administrative rights.
Make sure your computer meets the Minimum System Requirements.
When installation is complete, see the Network Client Configuration Guide and the
Network Client User Guide on your Manuals CD for information on setup and
operation.
If this is a new installation, have the product ID (found on the packaging box)
available.

1. Insert the Network Client CD.
2. Select a setup language, and click OK.
3. Installation should auto-start. If it does not, double-click the Network Client CD
icon (the setup.exe file) on your CD drive.
4. Installer checks for an already installed Network Client, and if one does exist,
Installer asks whether you want to preserve your configuration files.
5. Click Yes to preserve (recommended), No to overwrite the configuration files.
6. Click Next to continue.
7. Read the license agreement, click I accept, then click Next. (Or click Cancel).
2 Entering Customer Information:
1. Enter the following customer information:
• The User Name and Organization
• The Product ID
2. Click Next.
3 Selecting a Destination Drive and Setup Type
Consider space requirements prior to installing this software (20 MB for installation,
10 GB for video storage).
1. Click Next to accept a destination drive to install the Network Client
application and incident database folder.
OR
Click Change and browse to your desired drive to select a change to the destination
drive.
2. Select Setup type and click Next.
• Complete installs all program features.
• Custom allows you to choose which features are installed by following the prompts.

Finishing the Installation

Click Install to complete the installation process.
5 Completing Your Setup
1. Click the Adobe Acrobat checkbox if you want to download Adobe Acrobat, assuming
it is not installed.
2. Click Finish to complete the setup.
6 Restarting Your Computer
To complete the installation, you must restart your computer.
7 Starting Network Client
To start Network Client:
• Double-click the Network Client icon on your desktop.
OR
• Select Start > Programs > Network Client.
If you have followed these instructions and Network Client fails to start, or you
connected to an active Intellex unit and live video does not display, please contact
your service representative.

Dans une configuration réseau (pas par connexion avec numérotation), connectez
Network Client et Intellex sur le même noeud réseau (le même sous-réseau).
Pour Intellex IP, il est recommandé d’utiliser un réseau dédié.
Veuillez consulter votre administrateur système avant de connecter les unités Intellex
à votre réseau et avant d’y accéder depuis des stations de travail Network Client.
Fermez tous les programmes en cours d’exécution.
Ouvrez une session en tant qu’administrateur, en tant que membre du groupe
d’administration du domaine du réseau ou avec des droits d’administrateur local.
Assurez-vous que votre ordinateur a bien la configuration minimale requise.
Quand l’installation est terminée, consultez le Guide d'installation et de configuration et
le Manuel de l'utilisateur de Network Client sur le CD des manuels pour en savoir lus
sur l’installation et e fonctionnement.
S’il s’agit d’une nouvelle installation, veuillez vous munir de l’ID du produit ‘située sur

Début de l’installation
1. Insérez le CD Network Client.
2. Sélectionnez une langue d’installation, puis cliquez sur OK.
3. InstallShield vérifie qu’il n’y a pas de version de Network Client déjà installée. S’il y en a
une, InstallShield vous demande si vous voulez garder ces fichiers de configuration.
4. L’installateur vérifie si un Network Client était déjà installé et, si c’est le cas, vous
demande si vous souhaitez préserver vos fichiers de configuration.
5. Cliquez sur Oui pour les garder (recommandé) ou sur Non pour écraser ces fichiers
de configuration.
6. Cliquez sur Suivant pour continuer.
7. Lisez l’accord de licence, cliquez sur « J’accepte », puis sur Suivant. (ou cliquez sur Annuler).
3 Sélection d’un lecteur de destination et du type d’installation
Vous devez évaluer l’espace disponible avant d’installer ce logiciel
(20 Mo pour l’installation, 10 Go pour le stockage vidéo).
1. Cliquez sur Suivant pour accepter le lecteur de destination proposé pour l’installation
de l’application Network Client et du dossier de base de données d’incidents.
OU
Cliquez sur Parcourir pour sélectionner le lecteur de votre préférence.
2. Sélectionnez le type d’installation et cliquez sur Suivant.
• Le bouton radio « Complet » installe toutes les fonctions du programme.
• « Personnalisé » vous permet de choisir quelles fonctions seront installées,
en suivant les invites.

Finaliser l’installation

Cliquez sur Installer pour compléter le processus d’installation.
5 Terminer l’installation
1. Cliquez dans la case à cocher Adobe Acrobat si vous souhaitez télécharger
le lecteur Adobe Acrobat, si cette application n’est pas encore installée.
2. Cliquez sur Terminer pour finir l’installation.
6 Redémarrer votre ordinateur
Pour compléter l’installation, vous devrez redémarrer votre ordinateur.
7 Lancer Network Client
Pour lancer Network Client :
• Double-cliquez sur l’icône Network Client de votre Bureau.
OU
• Sélectionnez Démarrer > Programmes > Network Client.
Si vous avez suivi les instructions et que Network Client ne démarre pas ou que vous
avez connecté à une unité Intellex active et que la vidéo en direct n’est pas affichée,
veuillez contacter votre représentant de service.

1 Die Installation starten
1. Legen Sie die Network Client CD ein.
2. Wählen Sie eine Installationssprache und klicken auf OK.
3. Die Installation müsste automatisch gestartet werden. Wenn die Installation nicht

• wählen Sie Start > Programme > Network Client.
Wenn Sie diese Anleitungen befolgt haben und Network Client nicht startet, oder
wenn Sie an ein aktives Intellex-Gerät angeschlossen sind und kein Live Video
erscheint, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Kundendienstvertreter.
