Company Profile: CodaSystem announces financing round and ISO 27001
certification
CodaSystem is proud to announce a successful investment round of 3
million euros with the technological investment fund Seventure
Partners.
CodaSystem provides the first integrated solutions of digital proofs creation. The products are based on the most
advanced security technologies like Cryptography, Steganography, Audiovisual Watermarking, Digital Signature
and Time Stamping. The technology works on latest-generation camera phones (smartphones), PDA phone and
soon on I Phone and Blackberry.
The pictures are geo-localized (via satellite, GSM triangulation or WIFI triangulation) timestamped, tattooed and
signed by the authors. Service providers can use such pictures to have a legal proof of their services or as a
control mechanism when outsourcing activities. The software allows any professional to prove what has been
done, when, where and by whom, by means of a single encrypted and secured picture. Clients can benefit from
the convenience of digital documents while avoiding any risk of divulgation to non-authorised third parties or
modification of the content. The only alternatives to these digital proof pictures to date are heavy and costly
certified or official statements and reports.
The incriminating evidence of CodaSystem's pictures has been certified by several legal and technical audits and
is based on the total control of the production, encryption, archiving and diffusion process, and the conformity
to the most advanced rules and norms concerning the signature, the exchange and the electronic storage of
information. In this way, CodaSystem decided in 2007 to run on the ISO / IEC 27001 certification it obtained in
early September 2008. CodaSystem in now the first organization in Luxembourg to be certified ISO/IEC 27001 to
bring the proof of its safety processes and increase the trust of its customers.
The company's innovation has already been rewarded on the market by quick adoption of its technology in
specific target industries. Already present in the construction, real estate and security business, CodaSystem
enables its customers to gain from the benefits of digital tools while reducing risks and costs often associated
with their usage.
CodaSystem’s solution of digital pictures certification marketed by the company since 18 months enjoys a very
strong growth with the doubling of the park of displays. This round will allow CodaSystem to amplify and to
accelerate its development and to get ready for the international challenges to come. “This new financial round,
allows us to multiply tenfold our efforts. We are particularly going to develop our indirect and international
partnerships with the operators, the manufacturers and the integrators, while strengthening our team of direct
marketing on our flagship product " Shoot and Proof ”which allows all with a simple mobile phone to set digital
pictures”, said Frédéric Levaux, CEO of CodaSystem.

Conostix delivers labelized Secure WiFi to Bakes and Fischer
Customers of the Bakes and Fischer bakeries can now benefit of a
secured access to the Internet while drinking a coffee or having a
croissant in the bakery’s degustation lounge. The secured WiFi access is
the first implementation having obtained the label “WiFi sécurisé
suivant les réflexes CASES” delivered by the Ministry of the Economy
and Foreign Trade. On June 24, the Minister Jeannot Krecké himself
opened the first secured WiFi-enabled lounge at rue Phillippe II in
Luxembourg. Bakeries in Luxembourg, Esch-sur Alzette, Ettelbruck and
Wiltz are offering the same services since then.
Protecting the consumers for the Internet access is mandatory for
Bakes-Fischer. That’s why they have chosen the award winning
technology of Conostix to deploy a point-to-point secure architecture.
The systems are continually managed and updated in order to protect
the consumer against the threats from public networks and the
Internet.

J-Publisher customers express their satisfaction
Since the beginig of the year, J-Publisher™, the main product of J-Way
has known some important feature improvements. With the aim of
building the coming product strategy of J-Publisher, J-Way launched
in July an important satisfaction survey in order to know the use the
customers make of J-Publisher, their satisfaction and specific future
requirements or expectations.
70% of J-Way customers met between 2 to 8 hours the J-Way appointed consultant. These costumers produced
about 1500 applications using J-Publisher since 2004, including about 15 millions potential users. The results
released from this survey very valuable and proof that a small European Software Company is able to compete
with worldwide giants in the fields of innovation, customer satisfaction and reliability. In spite of the small size
of J-Way the customers, primarily huge governments offices, praise specifically:
•
J-Publisher’s ability to create powerfull and smart online services and its ability to fit with general IT
standards
•
J-Publisher’s productivity in creating smart forms,
•
J-Way’s efficient after sales services with accurate and fast answers
However customers expect J-Way also to release a tool for more non-technical people to create powerful forms
(the project is now launched, first deliveries are scheduled for March 2009!) and suggests also to increase JPublisher installations by expanding J-Way’s partnerships. J-Way would like to thank espacially all those clients
that took their valuable time to give feedbacks during this extremly deep evaluation exercice.

With Synergiums communicate differently!
Founded in 2006, Synergiums is a private service company specialised
in information management. Creating added value for private and public
customers, Synergiums delivers today innovative telematic solutions
addressing B2B and B2C markets and providing: multilingual vocal
access to on-line services: E-government, mobility, infotainment, and
Fleet Management; natural dialogue with any application ; immediate
interaction with newly available information; little preliminary
recognition of the way the users express themselves on a daily basis, in
their everyday language; automatic chaining of the services to meet the
user's needs.
“Our solutions comes "just in time". The number of services are increasing, but are still difficult to be accessed via
their own interface. Now, it's time to commercialize our solutions. It is obvious that we have to address the major
buyers, such as telecommunication operators, equipment manufacturers and content providers who will take
advantage for their own customers“ explains Alain Lefevre - CEO of Synergiums.

Technoport welcomes Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg as new Senior Partner
After ARCELOR-MITTAL, the Town of Esch-sur-Alzette and Broadcasting
Centre Europe it is Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg to join
Technoport as a Senior Partner with the aim to support new technologyoriented and innovative companies in Luxembourg. The partnership was
signed on Tuesday 16th September in presence of Mr. Claude Wehenkel,
CEO of CRP Henri Tudor, Diego De Biasio, Manager of Technoport and
Marc Meyers Partner at Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg.
This inititiave is a clear bottom-up approach following several requests of entrepreneurs to develop Technoport’s
offer of support in that direction. “The idea has been implemented after a discussion we had with Frank Diederich,
CEO and founder of Mocom. The request of developing our services within the accounting and corporate tax area had
been suggested several times recently and Frank offered to introduce us to somebody he knew. The approach
afterwards was very pragmatic and straigthforward,“ explains Diego De Biasio Manager of Technoport. Sean Killeen,
CEO and founder of Xintec could already take advantage of this new service. “What could a newly established
company ask more than the advice and support of a market reference like the Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg?
This partnership was right-in-time for our company. I was pleased by the work they have done with our accounting
and I’m sure other entrepreneurs of Technoport will take benefit out of this.“
The partnership involves three main pillars. Advice in accounting, corporate tax and company creation topics;
proximity with a physical presence in the incubator to be closer to the entrepreneurs and finaly a training aspect
to train and give some advices to entrepreneurs about how to organise and understand accounting and tax
principles. “We wanted to bring our passion and know-how in these field to new technology-oriented companies in
Luxembourg. I’m convinced that the pragmatic and dynamic work environnement we have discovered here at
Technoport will lead to make this initiative successful,“ says Marc Meyers, Partner at Fiduciaire Générale de
Luxembourg.
