Catechism teachers: We are in need of more French and English volunteers to teach catechism one evening a week starting

Remerciements et appréciations!/Thank you and Appreciation!
Nous remercierons tous les bénévoles de Saint-Malo et les villages de la région pour leurs nombreuses heures
passées à faire de notre pélerinage diocésain Quel succès!. Bravo! Tous ceux qui travaillent sans relâche dans les
coulisses sous à plusieurs niveaux; en termes de donner de leur temps, de l'argent, des tentes, des fleurs et de la
nourriture etc. pour faire la Grotte une beauté et un jour inoubliable. Un grand Merci à Monseigneur LeGatt qui a célébré la Messe et le Rite de l’Acolytat pour les séminaristes. L`Abbé Dominic et l`Abbé François-Xavier ont concélébré
avec Mgr. LeGatt et en plus, L`Abbé Patrice et l’Abbé François-Xavier ont offert le sacrement de réconciliation sur
place. Les C de C. ont généreusement organisé le repas avec la générosité de nos pèlerins. Le chœur et la musique
étaient formidables encore une fois. Nous estimons qu'il y avait plus de 1200 personnes qui ont assisté et la fraternité
ont soulevé les esprits de tous. Beaucoup ont exprimé leur appréciation pour le contrôle de la circulation et le service
de navette, le transport qui a permit de participer à la célébration de la messe. Nos première année avec des
Kiosques était merveilleux; quelque chose pour tous les âges et de nombreux enfants ont été ravis par les activités de
maquillage au visage. La journée s'est achevée en rendant grâce à Dieu avec l`Heure-Sainte. Nous donnons également grâce et louange à Dieu pour l`Abbé Dominic qui ne cesse de nous étonner et trouve l'énergie pour accomplir
tout ce qu'il fait pour ses brebis. Nous remercions Mgr. LeGatt pour permettre à tout argent donné d’être alloué pour
l'entretien et l'amélioration de la Grotte. Au plaisir de vous revoir en grand nombre l'année prochaine.

Réalisez-vous l’honneur? Que la Mère de Notre Seigneur viens jusqu’à nous à Saint-Malo? Ainsi que l’Evêque Mgr. LeGatt
et cinq séminaristes qui ont choisit de recevoir une étape vers la Prêtrise ici chez nous? L’Esprit Saint nous parle comme à
Elisabeth! Lors de la Visitation de la Vierge!/Do we realize the honour? That the Mother of Our Lord and Savior would come
to us in St. Malo? As well as the Bishop Mgr. LeGatt and 5 seminarians who chose to take the next step towards the Priesthood with us?The Holy Spirit is speaking to us as He did to Elizabeth, during the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
We would like to thank all the volunteers from Saint-Malo and the neighbouring towns for their many hours spent to
make our diocesan Pilgrimage the success that it was. Bravo! All those behind the scenes who worked tirelessly, donated their time, money, tents, flowers and food etc. to make the Grotto a beautiful sight and a day to remember. We
are grateful for Bishop LeGatt who celebrated the Mass and for the Rite of Acolyte for the seminarians; Fr. Dominic
and François-Xavier for co-celebrating Mass and Fr. Patrice and François-Xavier for taking the time to offer confessions on the grounds. The K. of C. hosted a great lunch with the generosity of our pilgrims. The choir and music was
wonderful again this year. We estimate there were over 1,200 people attended the event and fellowship was enjoyed
by all. Many expressed their appreciation for the traffic control and the option of a van-ride for enabling everyone to participate at the celebration of the Mass. Our 1st year with kiosques/booths displays were great; something for
all ages and many children enjoyed the face painting activities. The day was completed with thanksgiving to God at
the Holy Hour. We also give thanks and praise to God for Fr. Dominic who never ceases to amaze us and finds the
energy to accomplish everything he does for his sheep. We thank the diocese for allowing all the money collected to
be allocated for the upkeep and improvements to the Grotto. Looking forward to seeing you all in great numbers
again next year!
