Maßnahmen:
Detaillierte Informationen über die durchzuführenden Maßnahmen sind der oben genannten EASA
Airworthiness Directive (AD) und den genannten technischen Mitteilungen des Herstellers zu entnehmen. Alle
erforderlichen Maßnahmen zur Abstellung des technischen Mangels müssen ordnungsgemäß, vollständig und
innerhalb der vorgesehen Fristen auf Basis der genannten Bezugsdokumente durchgeführt werden. Alle
Abweichungen von den Maßnahmen und Fristen dieser Lufttüchtigkeitsanweisung bedürfen der vorherigen
Zustimmung durch das Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.
Fristen:
Alle anzuwendenden Fristen sind der oben genannten EASA Airworthiness Directive (AD) zu entnehmen. Die
Laufzeit aller anzuwendenden Fristen beginnt mit dem Datum der Inkraftsetzung der genannten EASA
Airworthiness Directive (AD).

DRINGENDE LUFTTÜCHTIGKEITSANWEISUNG
------------------------------
Diese Lufttüchtigkeitsanweisung entspricht hinsichtlich der durchzuführenden Maßnahmen und Fristen der
DGAC EMERGENCY AD UF-2007-007 vom 02.08.2007
Durch die vorgenannten Mängel ist die Lufttüchtigkeit des Luftfahrtgerätes derart beeinträchtigt, daß es nach Ablauf der genannten Fristen
nur in Betrieb genommen werden darf, wenn die angeordneten Maßnahmen ordnungsgemäß durchgeführt worden sind. Im Interesse der
Sicherheit des Luftverkehrs, das in diesem Fall das Interesse des Adressaten am Aufschub der angeordneten Maßnahmen überwiegt, ist es
erforderlich, die sofortige Vollziehung dieser LTA anzuordnen.
Rechtsbehelfsbelehrung:
Gegen diese Verfügung kann innerhalb eines Monats nach Bekanntgabe Widerspruch eingelegt werden. Der Widerspruch ist schriftlich oder
zur Niederschrift beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, Hermann-Blenk-Str. 26, 38108 Braunschweig einzulegen.

CN UF-2007-007 – EADS SOCATA – TBM 700 C et TBM 850
Titre : Atterrisseur - Support du train d'atterrissage - Inspection/Modification
1. MATERIELS CONCERNES :
TBM 700C et TBM 850 jusqu’au numéro de série S/N 408 inclus, avec un numéro de lot d’axe de roue du
train d’atterrissage principal CZ52790 ou CZ62189 ou CZ64034 ou CZ66207.
Note: Tous marquages différents de D67690 CZXXXXX ne sont pas concernés par cette CN.
2. RAISONS :
Un écrou de roue de train d’atterrissage principal s’est partiellement desserré sur un TBM 850, ce qui
engendra une perte de freinage et aurait pu amener au détachement de la roue. L’expertise a révélé que
l’incident était dû à un problème de fabrication d’axe de roue concernant quelques lots.
3. ACTIONS ET DELAIS D’APPLICATION :
Avant le prochain vol:
Vérifier le numéro de lot inscrit sur l’axe de roue des trains d’atterrissages principaux selon les instructions
du paragraphe A du Bulletin d’Alerte EADS SOCATA SB 70-151-32.
Si le numéro de lot lu sur l’axe de roue des trains d’atterrissages principaux ne fait pas partie des lots
CZ52790 ou CZ62189 ou CZ64034 ou CZ66207, l’avion peut être remis en service.
Si le numéro de lot lu sur l’axe de roue des trains d’atterrissages principaux fait partie des lots CZ52790 ou
CZ62189 ou CZ64034 ou CZ66207, accomplir le paragraphe B du BS 70-151-32 «vérification de la
conformité de l’axe». Un vol de convoyage est autorisé après avoir vérifié le serrage de l’écrou
conformément au paragraphe C du BS 70-151-32 et ce afin de rejoindre un atelier d’entretien ayant à sa
disposition l’outil d’inspection (Ref: SKT40716-118) nécessaire pour accomplir le paragraphe B du BS
70-151-32.
Si les axes sont conformes l’avion peut être remis en service.
Si l’un des axes est non conforme après l’inspection avec l’outil d’inspection spécifique
(Ref. SKT40716-118), remplacer avant le prochain vol, la rondelle frein par une rondelle frein de type
P/N SKW40716-118 et identifier l’axe avec l’inscription "SB70-151-32" avec une encre indélébile selon
l’instruction technique de MESSIER DOWTY CS/ 1020/07. Cette solution temporaire est valide jusqu’au 31
août 2008. Une définition définitive sera fournie avant cette date via la révision de cette CN. Pendant cette
période, une attention particulière doit être portée lors des visites d’entretien afin d’installer uniquement des
rondelles frein P/N SKW40716-118 en lieu et place des rondelles frein P/N Z00.N7743811500 pour les axes
de roue non conformes.

(France) as State of production. This text is not sent to foreign operators of aircraft not registered in
France, it is up to the national authorities to forward it to them on receipt.
CN UF-2007-007 – EADS SOCATA – TBM 700 C and TBM 850
Title : Main Landing Gear – Wheel Axle – Inspection/Modification
1. APPLICABILITY:
TBM 700C and TBM 850 aeroplanes up to S/N 408 included, with main landing gear wheel axle batch
numbers CZ52790 or CZ62189 or CZ64034 or CZ66207.
Note: Any marking different from D67690 CZXXXXX is not concerned by this AD.
2. REASONS:
This Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD) results from one report of a main landing gear wheel
attaching nut partly unscrewed on a TBM 850 what has generated a loss of braking and which could lead to
a wheel loss. The investigation revealed that this incident was due to a wheel axle machining issue,
concerning a few production batches.
3. COMPLIANCE:
Before Next Flight:
Check the main landing gear wheel axle batch number in accordance with the accomplishment instructions
of EADS SOCATA Alert Service Bulletin SB 70-151-32 paragraph A.
If the batch number of the main landing gear wheel axle read is not part of the following batch numbers
CZ52790 or CZ62189 or CZ64034 or CZ66207, the A/C can be released into service.
If the batch number of the main landing gears wheel axle read is part of the following batch numbers
CZ52790 or CZ62189 or CZ64034 or CZ66207, accomplishment of SB 70-151-32 paragraph B “Checking
procedure of axle conformity” must be carried out. One Ferry-flight is authorized after verification of the nut
tightening according to SB 70-151-32 paragraph C "Checking procedure of nut tightening”, to reach a
maintenance repair station equipped with the inspection tool (Ref: SKT40716-118) necessary for
accomplishment of SB 70-151-32 paragraph B.
If the axles are compliant, the A/C can be released into service.
If one of the axles is non-compliant after inspection with the specific tool (Ref. SKT40716-118), before next
flight, replace the original locking washer with a suitable locking washer (P/N SKW40716-118) and identify
the axle with inscription "SB70-151-32" by mean of indelible ink according to MESSIER DOWTY Technical
Instruction CS/ 1020/07.
This is a temporary solution, valid until august 31, 2008. A definitive solution will be provided prior to this date
through a revision of this AD. During this period, special attention should be given during maintenance to the
installation of locking washer P/N SKW40716-118 instead of locking washer P/N Z00.N7743811500 for noncompliant wheel axle.
4. EFFECTIVE DATE: 02 August 2007.
