Please follow the installation instructions that accompanied your USB
device(s).

Step 1
Some USB devices may require an external power supply when connected to a
USB hub. Check with the manufacturer of your USB peripheral(s).
If external power is not required,* then proceed to Step 2. If external power is
required, then plug in the optional DC power adapter to the Compact USB 4Port Hub. The power adapter is sold separately.
* If you don't use a power adapter, then the USB Hub will draw its power from
your computer's USB port. However, if you have a laptop or have several USB
devices connected to your desktop computer, you may want to use the optional
power adapter to help boost signal strength between a computer and its USB
devices. Using a power adapter also helps preserve a laptop's battery life.

Étape 1
Certains périphériques USB nécessitent parfois une source d’alimentation
externe lorsqu’ils sont reliés à un concentrateur USB. Vérifiez ce point avec le
fabriquant de votre ou vos périphériques USB.
Si aucune source d’alimentation externe n’est requise*, passez à l’étape 2. Si
une source d’alimentation externe est requise, reliez l’adaptateur
d’alimentation cc au concentrateur USB 4 ports compact. L’adaptateur
électrique est vendu séparément.
* Si vous n’utilisez pas d’adaptateur électrique, le concentrateur USB est
alimenté via le port USB de votre ordinateur. Cependant, si un ordinateur
portable ou plusieurs périphériques USB sont reliés à votre PC, vous pouvez
désirer utiliser l’adaptateur électrique pour optimiser l’intensité du signal entre
l’ordinateur et ses périphériques USB. Le recours à un adaptateur électrique
permet également de préserver la durée de vie de la batterie.

Reliez le concentrateur USB 4 ports à votre ordinateur au moyen du câble USB
fourni. Le système d’exploitation de l’ordinateur peut installer
automatiquement le pilote approprié. Vous pouvez être invité à insérer le
CD-ROM d’ins-tallation de Windows d’origine qui contient tous les fichiers et
pilotes requis. Linksys ne fournit aucun pilote.

Schritt 2
Schließen Sie den kompakten USB 4-Port Hub mit dem angeschlossenen USBKabel an den Computer an. Das Betriebssystem des Computers installiert den
entsprechenden Treiber u. U. automatisch. In einigen Fällen werden Sie u. U.
zum Einlegen der originalen Windows-Installations-CD aufgefordert, auf der
sämtliche erforderlichen Treiber und Dateien enthalten sind. Linksys selbst
stellt keine Treiber zur Verfügung.
Die Installation des kompakten USB 4-Port Hub ist hiermit abgeschlossen.
Schritt 3
Schließen Sie die USB-Geräte an den kompakten USB 4-Port Hub an.
Folgen Sie den Ihren USB-Geräten beiliegenden Installationsanweisungen.

Schritt 1
Bei einigen USB-Geräten ist u. U. beim Anschließen an einen USB-Hub eine
externe Stromquelle erforderlich. Informationen dazu erhalten Sie vom
Hersteller des jeweiligen USB-Peripheriegeräts.
Wenn keine externe Stromquelle erforderlich ist,* fahren Sie mit Schritt 2 fort.
Ist eine externe Stromquelle erforderlich, schließen Sie den optionalen
Gleichstromadapter an den kompakten USB 4-Port Hub an. Der
Netzstromadapter wird seperat verkauft.
* Wenn Sie keinen Netzstromadapter verwenden, verwendet der USB-Hub den
USB-Port des Computers als Stromquelle. Wenn jedoch ein Laptop bzw.
mehrere USB-Geräte an Ihren Desktop-Computer angeschlossen sind, sollten
Sie den optionalen Netzstromadapter verwenden, um die Signalstärke
zwischen dem Computer und den USB-Geräten zu verbessern. Durch das
Verwenden eines Netzstromadapters verlängert sich außerdem die Ladezeit
des Laptop-Akkus.

Fase 1
Per alcuni dispositivi USB potrebbe essere necessaria un’alimentazione esterna
se collegati a un hub USB. Verificare questa esigenza con il produttore del
dispositivo/i USB.
Se non è richiesta l’alimentazione esterna, passare alla Fase 2*. Se, invece, è
richiesta, collegare l’adattatore di corrente CC opzionale a Compact
USB 4-Port Hub. L’adattatore di corrente è venduto separatamente.
* Se non si utilizza un adattatore di corrente, l’hub USB riceverà
l’alimentazione dalla porta USB del computer. Tuttavia, se si dispone di un
computer portatile o se al computer desktop sono collegati diversi dispositivi
USB, è possibile utilizzare l’adattatore di corrente opzionale per aumentare la
potenza del segnale tra il computer e i dispositivi USB. L’impiego di un
adattatore di corrente è utile anche per prolungare la durata della batteria di un
computer portatile.

Collegare Compact USB 4-Port Hub al computer utilizzando il cavo USB

Passo 2
Ligue o Concentrador USB de 4 portas compacto ao computador utilizando o
cabo USB fornecido. O sistema operativo do computador poderá instalar o
controlador adequado automaticamente. Serão solicitados os ficheiros de
instalação do CD original do Windows, o qual inclui todos os controladores e
ficheiros necessários. A Linksys não fornece nenhuns controladores.
A instalação do Concentrador USB de 4 portas compacto está concluída.

Ligue o(s) dispositivo(s) USB ao Concentrador USB de 4 portas compacto.

Passo 1
Alguns dispositivos USB podem necessitar de uma fonte de alimentação
externa quando forem ligados a um concentrador USB. Consulte o fabricante
dos periféricos USB.
Se não for necessária alimentação externa,* avance para o Passo 2. Se for
necessária alimentação externa, ligue o transformador CC opcional ao
Concentrador USB de 4 portas compacto. O transformador é vendido em
separado.
* Se não utilizar um transformador, o Concentrador USB obterá energia a
partir da porta USB do computador. No entanto, se tiver um portátil ou vários
dispositivos USB ligados ao computador de secretária, poderá utilizar o
transformador opcional para aumentar a potência do sinal entre o computador
e os respectivos dispositivos USB. A utilização de um transformador também
ajuda a preservar a duração da bateria do portátil.

Paso 1
Algunos dispositivos USB necesitan una fuente de alimentación externa al
conectarlos a un concentrador USB. Consulte al fabricante de los periféricos
USB.
Si no se necesita alimentación externa*, vaya al paso 2. Si se necesita
alimentación externa, conecte el adaptador de corriente CC al concentrador
USB de 4 puertos compacto. El adaptador de corriente se vende por separado.
* Si no utiliza un adaptador de corriente, el concentrador USB obtendrá
alimentación del puerto USB del ordenador. Sin embargo, si tiene un
ordenador portátil o tiene varios dispositivos USB conectados al PC de
escritorio, puede utilizar el adaptador de corriente para que la señal sea más
potente entre el ordenador y los dispositivos USB conectados al mismo. Al
utilizar el adaptador de corriente, también ahorrará batería del ordenador
portátil.
