Mosaic Creative and Fun
2016 April 30-May 2
Join us in this fun mosaic experience with the renowned mosaic artists
Fernanda Jaton & Christian Pérès Gibaut.
They run the JATON Mosaic Studio in Buenos Aires, from where they
spread their art worldwide.
They are visiting France for the second time and offer us this new workshop .
Students will learn how to play with the materials and ideas in order to create something new and
different of what they are used to.
Mosaic art today enables the artist to explore and to combine different styles and techniques.
Expand your creative boundaries, Explore more and have fun with your own creativity , making a
amazing mosaic of about 30 x 40 cm!
After a review of creative works in mosaics and an introduction to picassiette mosaics, students go
through a china cutting technique practice.
Various and unusual materials will be proposed, to liberate the créativity :
china, ceramic and/or porcelain cups, mugs, dishes; And also a variety materials such as ceramics,
stones, glass tiles, glass, mirror, jewelry , found objects, etc.
Finally, they design and develop their project for the class with the instructor’s guide .
Explore and Play with your creativity …..for a fun experience !

Sunday / Monday : 9:30 - 12:00 / 1 :00 – 4 :30
Lunch break 1h, not included,
could be shared at the studio or enjoyed separatly .
