REVA (Réseau Educatif des Ville Ariane), programme mis en place par la CVA (Communauté des Villes
Ariane) avec le support de l’ISSAT (Institut au Service du Spatial, de ses Applications et Technologies)
a pour but d’encourager les échanges éducatifs sur les activités spatiales, et le transport spatial en
particulier, au sein du réseau CVA.
Dans ce contexte, la CVA organise des séminaires annuels qui permettent à des enseignants du
secondaire et des personnels éducatifs de niveau équivalent des villes membres et non membres de
la CVA, de participer à une formation sur le thème du spatial.
Après Toulouse en 2008, Lampoldshausen en 2009, Brême en 2010, Liège en 2011, Brême en 2012 et
Terrassa en 2013, c’est Séville qui accueillera le prochain séminaire REVA du 9 au 11 juillet 2014.
Cette 7ème session aura pour objectif, après une introduction sur le transport spatial et ses enjeux,
de s’intéresser plus particulièrement au thème de la propulsion.
Le programme comprendra des conférences, une table ronde, un atelier et des visites afin de couvrir
tous les aspects de la thématique. Il y aura aussi du temps consacré aux échanges entre les
participants, mais aussi avec les chefs d'établissement du secondaire qui auront leur réunion
annuelle en même temps !

REVA (Educational Network of Ariane Cities), programme set up by the CVA (Community of Ariane
Cities) with the support of the ISSAT Association (Institute for Space, itS Applications and
Technologies) aims to encourage educational exchanges relating to Space activities -and specially
space transportation- within the CVA network.
In this context CVA organises annual seminars to give middle and high school teachers in member and
non member cities of the CVA the opportunity of attending training in space related topics. This
possibility is extended to scientific coaches of the appropriate level of ability.
After Toulouse in 2008, Lampoldshausen in 2009, Bremen in 2010, Liège in 2011, Bremen again in
2012 and Terrassa in 2013, the city of Sevilla will host the next REVA seminar on space transportation,
from 9 to 11 July 2014.
The seventh session will aim, after an introduction on space transportation and its issues, to focus
specifically on the theme of the propulsion.
The programme will include lectures, a round-table, a workshop and visits to cover all aspects of the
thematic. There will be also time devoted to exchanges between the participants but also with the
headteachers of secondary schools that will have their annual meeting at the same time!

Modalités
La CVA offre une formule tout compris incluant :
- une formation de trois jours sur le transport spatial (maximum 30 participants) avec conférences, atelier,
visites, et documentation. Les conférences et atelier seront présentés en anglais, en français ou exceptionnellement cette année- en espagnol, avec traduction simultanée dans les deux autres langues,
- le transport durant le séjour, pour se rendre sur les lieux de visites,
- l’hébergement du 8 au 11 Juillet 2014 (3 nuits) incluant les petits déjeuners à l’Hôtel,
- les déjeuners, les pauses café, les réceptions.
(Les repas du soir sont à la charge des participants, de même, les nuits et petits-déjeuners supplémentaires)
La participation à ce séminaire donne droit au statut d'ancien élève de la CVA (Alumni) ce qui permet de
participer, une fois, à un voyage organisé par la CVA en Guyane à un tarif préférentiel.
Délai d’inscription
Dans les meilleurs délais, et, au plus tard, le 1er juin 2014.
Si le nombre de 15 participants n'est pas atteint, la CVA se réserve le droit d'annuler le séminaire, auquel cas les
frais d’inscription seront remboursés.
Hébergement
Il est demandé à chaque participant de bien indiquer son jour d’arrivée et de départ sur le bulletin
d’inscription. Nous nous chargeons des réservations.
L’hébergement à l’Hôtel est offert pour les participants au Séminaire du 8 au 11 juillet 2014. Les frais de séjour
ne seront pas offerts si les participants choisissent de séjourner dans un autre hôtel que celui proposé par REVA.
Hôtel : Les participants seront logés dans un hôtel sélectionné par REVA. Les coordonnées de l’hôtel seront
communiquées ultérieurement.
Bulletin d’inscription et contribution financière
Pour formaliser votre inscription, le bulletin d’inscription ci-joint doit être complété et retourné à l’adresse
indiquée ci-dessous, dans les meilleurs délais, et avant le 1er juin 2014.
Des frais de participation, d’un montant de 75 € (ou 400 € pour les participants des villes non-membres de la
CVA) sont demandés lors de cette inscription, par virement bancaire (de préférence) ou chèque à l’ordre de la
CVA (informations bancaires données sur le bulletin d’inscription). L’inscription sera confirmée à réception du
paiement.
En cas d’annulation du participant après le 1er juin, les frais d’inscription ne seront pas remboursés.
En cas de désistement du participant après le 30 juin, une somme de 400 € correspondant aux frais engagés
(hôtel, transport, interprétariat) sera réclamée.

 Mainly: mathematic, sciences, physics and language teachers from middle and high schools (“colleges” and
“lycées”)
 Upcoming teachers at the last level of their studies

Terms
CVA offers an all-inclusive formula that includes:
 a three-day training on space transportation (maximum 30 participants) with conferences, workshop, visits
and documentation. The conferences and the workshop will be presented in English, in French or exceptionally, this year- in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into the two other languages,
 transportation during the stay, for the visits,
 accommodation from 8 to 11 July 2013 (3 nights) including breakfast at Hotel,
 lunches, coffee breaks, receptions.
(Evening meals are to be paid for by the participants as well as extra nights and breakfasts)
To be mentioned that participating in this seminar entitles the status of an alumnus of the CVA which allows to
participate once in a trip organized by the CVA in Guyana, to a special rate.
Registration deadline
As soon as possible, and no later than June 1st 2014.
To be noticed: if the number of 15 participants is not reached, then the CVA reserves the right to cancel the
seminar. In this case, the registration fees will be refunded.
Accommodation
Each participant should indicate his/her arrival and departure dates on the registration form. We handle
reservations.
Accommodation at Hotel is offered from 8 to 11 July to Seminar participants. Accommodation fees will not be
paid if participants choose to stay in a different hotel than the one selected by REVA.
Hotel: Participants will stay in a hotel selected by REVA. The coordinates of the hotel will be later
communicated.
Registration form and financial contribution
To confirm your registration, the form attached must be completed and returned to the address indicated
below, as soon as possible, and no later than June 1st, 2014.
Participation fees, amounting to 75 € (or 400 € for participants of non-member cities of the CVA) are required
when registering. They should be paid in preference by bank transfer (see CVA bank data on registration form)
or by check payable to the CVA. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
If a participant cancels his/her participation after June 1st, registration fees will not be refunded.
If a participant cancels his/her participation after June 30, he/she commits to pay 400 € corresponding to the
expenses already incurred at that date (hotel, transportation, simultaneous translation).
