We aim to improve the overall socio-emotional health of our student body. School
climate students are required to reflect, survey, provide feedback, modify the
school culture, and promote school spirit. Our students will develop personal independence, innovation and leadership skills as they brainstorm, communicate, and
execute plans to improve the school’s social environment. The class creates positive and informative posters, works on social life activities for the student body,
and acknowledges the different characteristics of strong leadership among their
peers and within our community.
Each month we elaborate on the “Word of the Month”; which expands on Panther
characteristics and traits. During the months of September, and October our focus
was on the traits of “Inclusiveness” and “Empathy”. This month the core value
being presented is “Citizenship”; when one cares about another’s feelings, shows

Halloween Celebration—What a “SPOOK”tacular Event!!!
Union School would like to thank all parents, staff, and students who made this event a successful gathering. Congrats to all our costume contest winners and grade 5 for winning the door decoration contest.
The trunk decorations were phenomenal and EVERYONE looked great in their costumes!!!
Thanksgiving Celebration
As we all know, Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
In keeping with the spirit of giving , and Union School’s tradition of preparing
baskets for our custodial staff, Student Council is asking for your help.
Living in Haiti and being a part of the Union School community is not only a
privilege but also a responsibility which calls us to open our hearts to our Custodial Staff. They have played a major role in our daily lives and it is up to us to
give back.
Please join the Student Council in making this Thanksgiving a memorable one!
Below you will find a list of what Student Council is asking each class to be
responsible for.
