QU’EST-CE QUE LE TVV

TVV = Type – Variante - Version

Le TVV est exigé pour décrire toutes les combinaisons techniques autorisées
dans le dossier technique constructeur.

Un TVV mal décrit dans le dossier constructeur est interdit en immatriculation.

Un véhicule commercial (et ses masses d’immatriculation) ne peut
correspondre qu’à un seul TVV (différence technique entre les types) dans un
Etat Membre.

Le TVV doit permettre d’immatriculer un véhicule, dans tous les Etats
Membres, en fournissant les données nécessaires à son immatriculation.

Si la logique TVV n’est pas pertinente, cela peut générer des blocages ou
gènes lors de l’immatriculation dans un Etats Membres.

‘Variante’ d’un type définie les véhicules d’un type identiques sous au
moins les aspects suivants :
Structure de la carrosserie (uniquement pour les véhicules complets).
Degré de la construction (complet / Incomplet).
Moteur :

Principe de fonctionnement (point 3.2.1.1 de l’Annexe III).
Nombre et disposition des cylindres.
Ecart de puissance > 50 %
Ecart de cylindrée > 50 %
Ecarts de Masses Maximales Techniquement Admissibles > 20 %
Essieux moteurs (nombre, position, crabotaged’un autre essieu).

L’identification complète du véhicule uniquement à partir des désignations du type, de la
variante et de la version doit correspondre à une définition précise unique des toutes les
caractéristiques requises pour la mise en service du véhicule.
