THALES-ALENIA-SPACE, leader européen de la construction de Satellites, décide de doter ses
équipes du logiciel BEAM-REPORT® de SYSTEAM, pour normaliser ses processus de reporting et
faciliter l’intégration trans-nationale (France - Italie – Espagne-Belgique).
Au terme d’une expérience positive de 3 mois, THALES-ALENIA-SPACE a conclu avec SYSTEAM un
accord pour la fourniture de 1500 licences BEAM-REPORT en 12 mois. Utilisé dans un premier
temps par la DSI et la Direction des Achats pour leurs besoins internes, BEAM-REPORT devrait être
déployé progressivement sur l’ensemble des secteurs de l’entreprise qui le nécessitent..
Comme dans la plupart des grandes entreprises de haute technologie, THALES-ALENIA-SPACE
utilise un reporting d’activité, à tous les niveaux, destiné à reporter les faits marquantsde ces
activités. Dans ce contexte, l’introduction de BEAM-REPORT a pour objectifs de faciliter la
consolidation des reportings en vertical et en transverse, et réduire le délai de remontée des
informations.

THALES-ALENIA-SPACE, the European leader for Satellite systems, decides to implement the
BEAM-REPORT® software tool of SYSTEAM, to normalize the weekly reporting processes and
reinforce the trans-national integration of the operational teams (France – Italy – Spain).
After a successful 3-months probation, THALES-ALENIA-SPACE entered into an agreement with
SYSTEAM for the supply of up to 1500 BEAM-REPORT licenses within 12 month. Used first by the IS
and Purchasing Directorates for their internal needs, BEAM-REPORT should be progressively
deployed for the whole Operations Directorate.
Like in most large high-tech companies, the operations at THALES-ALENIA-SPACE are supported by
weekly reports at all levels, intended to follow up precisely the short term progress and the
handling of problems. In that context, the introduction of BEAM-REPORT has several objectives :
normalize the form and content of those reports, make easier their consolidation along various
axes, and provide a faster upward transmission of the critical information.
