ROLE&RESPONSIBILITIES
•Issuing customer invoices
•Capturing expenses and coding source documents to the appropriate accounts
•Capturing payments and receipts from bank statements
•Capturing of all business transactions in the correct account and budget class
•Compilation of payment schedule
•Maintain historical records by filing documents
•Weekly debtors review and correspondence with sales & operations team
Monthly Tasks
•Bank reconciliation
•Supplier account reconciliations
•Review of debtors ageing
•Generating customer statements
•Preparation of monthly trial balance
•Reconciling expense reports to accounting records
•Preparation of all month end journal entries for review
•Review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, incl.:Debtors,Creditos,Inter-company loan accounts,Accruals,Fixed
Assets
•Identification, analysis and explanations budget variances
•Performance of relevant statutory and tax submissions and filings
SKILLS&QUALIFICATIONS
•Holder of an Accounting/Finance Degree, CFC level or equivalent
•Relevant accounting qualification
•Minimum of 3 years experience
•Excellent business communication skills, proficient in both English and French
•Excellent computer literacy skills including Excel
•Experienced and highly skilled in the use of accounting software, eg:
•AccPac
•Quickbooks
•Pastel
•Highly organised
•Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work without significant guidance
•Knowledge & experience of Swiss tax and regulatory framework, requirements and submissions
•Knowledge & experience of Swiss employee payroll tax, regulatory requirements and submissions
•Experienced and skilled in the use of payroll software
