Objectif : unir leurs forces, devenir des acteurs incontournables et parvenir à un CA consolidé commun de 55 millions d’euros environ. Elastic a un site à Neukirchen pour la production de tissus (qui servira aussi de centre de développement), un second à Wuppertal pour la teinturerie, un bureau de vente à Hong Kong et un site de production en coopération avec le groupe MAS à Colombo (Sri Lanka). Tous les sites seront maintenus avec leurs positionnements individuels et spécifiques. C. L. : Quelles sont les gammes de tissus pour lesquelles Elastic est très reconnue ? Même question pour Lauma. Et y a t-il des recouvrement d’offre entre les deux sociétés ? F. W. : Elastic est reconnue dans deux secteurs principalement : les tissus techniques, et les tissus légers —notamment des dentelles pour la lingerie légère, transparente. S’agissant des tissus techniques, nous possédons un savoir-faire technique qui nous a permis de développer des solutions sophistiquées pour le shapewear, en tissus, bandes et aussi dentelles. La plupart de ces tissus sont des développements individuels réalisés en coopération avec les clients, adaptés à leurs besoins. Lauma offre une collection de bons “standards“ (tissus et bandes), ainsi que des dentelles et broderies à des prix très compétitifs.
