- knowledge of the geoclimatic and socio-economic contexts of the valley
-discovery of the actions already carried out and the priority needs with still take into

-integration for this work within the local politico-administrative framework (PAGIRE)
-estimate for some specific financial needs (future assistances of the river contract
Semois)
Topic:
Comprehension of the methodologies and the techniques of animation and
dialogue
- awareness of the difficulties of local calls (very extended wide territory, difficulties of
linguistic difficulties of displacement)
-in spite of these difficulties, appreciation of the very good relations between the team of
animation of river contract Sourou and local authorities and local populations

About methodology:
To establish the framework and the objectives of work in relationship and complete agreement to the
national and regional politico-administrative authorities

About Practice:
To adapt well the objectives of the program to financial means and human available by the teams of
coordination (not too wide territory)

National IWRM practice:
It is essential that the actions engage by CR Sourou are integrated (with certain adaptations...) within
the framework of a national program in the long term.

Regional experience:
The success and the failures of the river contract Sourou should be diffused towards the other
authorities or partners of the area of West Africa

Worldwide:
The transposition of the problems and solutions of CR Sourou are certainly interesting for much
country of the south

- To adapt methodologies to the local socio-cultural realities
- To watch to produce concrete realizations on the ground to maintain the mobilization and the
dynamism of the partners

Very interesting and enriching mission :
- interesting for the technical aspects of concrete realizations and installations ;
- interesting for the original methodology developed by the COPROD ;
- Very enriching humanly and personally experience
