She is a champion surfer. This is not the only amazing thing. Bethany only has one arm. Why? A shark attack… Bethany tells her story. I live in Hawaii and every day I go surfing. That day, I got up at five o’clock as usual and I went to the beach. It was a beautiful day and the water was calm. I was sitting on my surfboard with my hands in the water. Suddenly, something pulled my arm. A shark! Then I looked at the water. The water was red – my blood!! When I woke up I was in hospital.
