An OPTIPAC VMC-12 helps optimize all process-related requirements by its ability to monitor
cloth temperature, moisture retention, exhaust humidity and
weight, and control amongst
other things dwell-time, linespeed, exhausters and overfeed.

THE BASIC UNIT
The central computer communicates with its associated sensors and signal-processing modules via bus-connected interfaces. Visualization ensues on a
15“ touchscreen, along with intuitive display of process-related
data, and input of variables,
backed up by audio response in
all the usual languages.
What it does
An OPTIPAC VMC-12 senses
the all-important process parameters, and evaluates their
effective trend. It responds
sharply to changes in the measured variables, controls the
process continuously via appropriate manipulated variables
(line-speed, overfeed, exhaust
fan speed, etc.), and displays all
relevant data in a most userfriendly way. Recipe management facilitates reuse of stored,
product-related settings and
variables.
The following parameters can be measured and controlled within the limits of the on-site
manipulated variables:

• Basic unit responsible for

measured data and settings.
• Intelligent sensors, each with
its own signal processor.
• Digital and analog inputs and
outputs for activation and / or
control purposes.
