Biography in english:
Jessica Forde was born in England and is, for now, based in Paris, France.
At the age of 16, she picked up her first camera and started playing along with photography, a family tradition.
She has since lived many lives as an actress, a director, a photographer.
During the passed ten years, Jessica has happily established herself as an experienced stills photographer.
She has been working on various french cinema d’auteur projects, big budget movies, as well as more recently,
on major international productions such as Malavita aka The Family and Lucy, directed by Luc Besson and The
Tunnel (2014).
Adding up to her knowledge of cinema, photography, lighting and grading, she has an unique relationship with
actors and actresses having been there.
Biographie en français :
Jessica Forde est née en Angleterre et vit à Paris, France.
À l’âge de 16 ans, on lui offre son premier appareil photo. Elle commence à jouer avec la photographie, une
tradition familiale.
Depuis, elle a vécu de nombreuses vies en tant qu’actrice, réalisatrice et photographe.
Au cours des dix dernières années, Jessica est devenue une photographe de plateau expérimentée. Elle a travaillé
pour divers projets de cinéma d’auteur, des films à gros budget, ainsi que plus récemment, pour de grandes
productions internationales telles que Malavita aka The Family (2013), Lucy (2014), réalisés par Luc Besson et
The Tunnel (2014).
À son expérience dans les domaines du cinéma, de la photographie, de la lumière et de l’étalonnage, s’ajoute sur
les plateaux sa relation unique avec comédiens due à son passé de l’autre côté de la caméra.
