CALL FOR PAPERS
CALL FOR PAPERS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Please follow the guidelines below: 1. The format must be as simple as possible (as little formatting as possible). 2. Articles must be sent in an electronic version (Word). 3. The text of the article must be presented as follows: Letter format (8.5 X 11 inches) Single spacing Arial, 11 points 4. Put the bibliography at the end of the text and ensure that it includes all references cited in the text, and only these references. 5. Use author-date style for the bibliography. For example: Kempf, H. (2009). Pour sauver la planète, sortez du capitalisme, Paris, Seuil. 6. For multiple authors, only the first-listed name is inverted. For example: Beaudet, P., R. Canet, and M.-J. Massicotte (2010). L’altermondialisme. Forums sociaux, résistances et nouvelle culture politique, Montreal, Écosociété. Caillé, A., M. Humbert, S. Latouche, and P. Viveret (2011). De la convivialité. Dialogues sur la société conviviale à venir, Paris, La Découverte. 7. For a chapter in a book: Lantagne, R. (2004). “Coopératives et altermondialisation,” in L. Favreau, G. Larose, and A. S. Fall (eds.), Altermondialisation, économie et coopération internationale, Sainte-Foy, PUQ/Karthala, pp. 85–93. 8. For an article in a periodical: Draperi, J.-F. (2010). “L’entrepreneuriat social : du marché public au public marché,” Revue internationale de l’économie sociale-RECMA, No. 316, pp. 18–40. 9. When citing authors in the text, you must place the references immediately after the citation or after the words they relate to. For example: (Petrella 2007: 128); (Ulysse and Lesemann 2007); (Favreau, Fréchette, and Lachapelle 2008: 124). 10. If you cite two or more pages, insert an en dash between the first and last page cited. For example: (Sibille and Ghezali 2010: 75–78) 11. If you cite two works from the same author, published the same year, add a letter after the year. For example: (Lafontaine and Jean 2005a and 2005b) 12. Do not use the abbreviation et al. in the bibliography. It can be used in the text for works with more than three authors. For example: (Caillé et al. 2011) 13. If necessary, you can use endnotes (footnotes are never to be used as bibliography notes, only as content notes). 14. We encourage authors to limit the use of tables and graphics. 15. If tables and graphics are essential, ensure they are relatively simple and placed in numerical order at the end of the document. 16. Articles must include an abstract. To the extent possible, please translate the abstract into the three languages used in the volume (French, English, and Spanish). 17. The presentation order for sections is as follows: Title of article Name of author(s) Text of article Tables or graphics (if essential) Bibliography Endnotes Abstract (150 words, in all three languages if possible)
