For a level for you need to be able to give a JUSTIFIED
opinion. E.g j’adore les sciences parce que c’est intéressant
( I love science because it’s interesting)
Quelle heure est-il? (what time is it?)
Il est… heure(s) = it is… o’clock
For this you need a range of adjectives plus some key verbs:
C’EST… = it is…
CE N’EST PAS.. = it is not
Midi = midday
Also, if you want to describe a teacher you should use:
Minuit = midnight
In French you have to say ‘it is + hour +
minutes’
E.g il est deux heures et demie/ il est deux
heures trente
