PRICE LIST – AUTUMN 2015 We are very pleased to offer you our new list for the Autumn and Winter. Thanks to a benevolent budget in March, prices for most wines have not changed and where the improved exchange rate permits we have reduced our prices, such as with Champagne and our French regional wines. We are now showing a completely new range of Rioja, Conde Bel, from the family owned firm Hispano Espanolas. From Chile, we have added a Cabernet/Merlot from Casa Silva and finally from the Terra Occitana range, a new Pinot Noir Rosé. Finally, just as a reminder, we do offer a monthly mixed case, which caters to your taste and price bracket. These seem to be very popular; please do ask us about this if you are interested. Alexander and Caroline Nall CHAMPAGNE VOLLEREAUX Champagne Vollereaux, under the guidance of Franck Vollereaux, has a comprehensive range of styles of Champagne. We now list the award winning prestige Cuvée Marguerite 2007 and for those who wish to impress, the Blanc de Blancs 2005 Magnum in a presentation tin cylinder. We also have Jeroboams of the Cuvée Tradition Millésimé 2005 which come in a presentation wooden box. We have now introduced the Prosecco Colli Trevigiani Spumante in magnums, by popular demand. Côte d’Or white wines remain expensive, however Marsannay Blanc from the Côte de Nuits is a sound, well made wine and one of our firm favourites. The Simonnet Fèbvre Chardonnay and Sauvignon de St Bris are excellent value for money for Burgundian white wines. The wine maker, Jean Philippe Archambaud, is developing a collection of wines from the Yonne and Chablis area and is recognised as one of the best in the region. It is very good value. The Le Bouquet Sauvignon Domaine Laporte is a step up, being fuller and riper. Also, the Sancerre Les Sept Hommes produced by Domaine de la Rossingnole is flinty and herbaceous; it is exactly as a Sancerre should be! Also, from the Terra Occitana stable we have introduced a delicious Pinot Noir rosé, which has a lovely ripe flavour to be drunk either on its own or with food.
