Was war zuerst: Das Ei oder ... der Ball?
Ob der 1872 in der Haute-Normandie gegründete Le Havre AC tatsächlich der älteste Fußballverein Frankreichs ist, stellt man zumindest in Paris in
Frage, wo der Standard AC Paris seinerseits den Titel des traditionsreichsten Vereins des Landes beansprucht. Zwar wurde der Pariser Verein erst
1892 gegründet – also 20 Jahre später als Le HAC. Allerdings spielte man in Paris von Anfang an mit einem echten und vor allem runden Fußball,
während in Le Havre bis 1894 eine eher dem Rugby ähnelnde Fußballversion mit eierförmigen Ball gespielt worden sein soll. Belegen lässt sich
weder die Pariser Geschichtsschreibung, noch die aus Le Havre. Fakt ist dagegen, dass Le HAC bis Mitte 2012 ein schickes neues Stadion bekommt:
mit Platz für 25.000 Zuschauer und insgesamt 32.000 m² ETFE-Foliendach und ETFE-Folienfassade, selbstverständlich in den Vereinsfarben hellblau
und dunkelblau. Die Vorplanung, Genehmigungsplanung und Werkstattplanung für ETFE-Dach und Fassade stammen dabei von LEICHT, beauftragt
wurden die LEICHT Ingenieure von der Novum Structures GmbH, Architekten des neuen Stade Le Havre sind die französischen Stadion-Spezialisten
der Pariser Société de Conception d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme (SCAU). Die neue Arena entsteht in direkter Nachbarschaft zum in die Tage
gekommenen und teilweise baufälligen Vorgänger Stade Jules Deschaseaux. Neben Fußballspielen und Konzerten sollen im neu errichteten Grand
Stade Le Havre auch wieder Rugby-Spiele ausgetragen werden.

Von der Eröffnung des für rund 40 Millionen Euro modernisierten Bahnhofs im oberbayrischen Rosenheim hatten wir bereits in unserem letzten
Newsletter berichtet, nun kommen wir der vielfachen Nachfrage nach besserem Bildmaterial nach: Die Bilder zeigen das Zugangsbauwerk zu einer
Unterführung, die erstmals einen barrierefreien und blindengerechten Zugang zu sämtlichen Bahnsteigen bietet und von einer 630 m² großen
Membrane aus PTFE-beschichtetem Glasgewebe über 6 Seil-unterspannten BSH-Rahmen überdacht wird. Geplant wurde die Überdachung von
LEICHT, neben den HOAI-Leistungsphasen 1 - 7 übernahm LEICHT dabei auch die Fachbauleitung.

What came first: the egg or … the ball?
Whether the soccer club Le Havre AC founded in Upper Normandy in 1872 is in fact the oldest soccer club in France is a matter of debate, at least in
Paris, where the club Standard AC Paris claims for itself the title of the club with the richest tradition in the country. Indeed, the club Standard AC Paris
was only founded in 1892 – that is, 20 years later than the club Le HAC. However, in Paris the game was played right from the beginning with a
genuine and most notably with a round soccer ball, whereas in Le Havre up until 1894 the game was supposedly played with an egg-shaped ball
similar to a rugby ball. Neither the Parisian version of history nor that from Le Havre can be proven. But in contrast, it is truly a fact that Le HAC will
acquire an elegant new stadium by the middle of 2012, with seating for 25,000 spectators and a total of 32,000 m² of ETFE film for the roofing and
facade, naturally in the club colors of light blue and dark blue. The preliminary planning, the permit planning and the workshop planning for the roofing
and facade of ETFE film all come from LEICHT; the LEICHT engineers were commissioned by the firm Novum Structures GmbH. The architects of the
new Stadium Le Havre are the French stadium specialists of the Parisian Société de Conception d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme (SCAU). The new
arena will be constructed in the direct vicinity of its out-dated and somewhat dilapidated predecessor, the Stade Jules Deschaseaux. Besides soccer
games and concerts, rugby games will also be played again in the newly built Grand Stade Le Havre.

New train station – new photos
In our last newsletter we reported on the opening of the new train station in Upper Bavarian Rosenheim that was modernized for around 40 million
euros. Now we are fulfilling the many requests for better pictures: the photos show the entrance structure to an underpass that for the first time affords
access to all the tracks that is both barrier-free and adapted for use by the blind and is protected by a 630 m² large membrane of PTFE-covered fiber
glass over six cable-spanned glulam frames. LEICHT carried out the planning for the roof and besides the HOAI service phases 1 – 7, LEICHT was
also responsible for the management of the construction.

Qui était là en premier : l’œuf ou … le ballon ?
La question de savoir si Le Havre AC, fondé en 1872, est vraiment le plus vieux club de football de France, est régulièrement remise en doute ne
serait-ce qu’à Paris, où le Standard AC Paris revendique également pour lui le titre de premier club du pays. Le club parisien n'a certes vu le jour qu'en
1892, soit 20 ans après le HAC, mais il a toujours joué avec un « vrai » ballon, autrement dit un ballon rond, alors que le sport pratiqué au Havre était,
jusqu’en 1894, une version du football qui s’apparentait plutôt au rugby, avec un ballon en forme d’œuf. L’historiographie ne pourra sans doute jamais
trancher catégoriquement entre Paris et Le Havre. Mais pour l’avenir immédiat, aucun doute n’est permis : le HAC sera doté d’ici la mi-2012 d’un
superbe stade de 25 000 places avec 32 000 m² de membrane ETFE pour le toit et la façade, le tout bien sûr dans les couleurs du club havrais, à
savoir le bleu ciel et le bleu marine. La conception préliminaire, la constitution du dossier de permis de construire et la planification d’atelier pour le toit
et la façade ont été assurées par LEICHT sur mandat de la société Novum Structures GmbH. Le projet de construction a été confié au grand cabinet
d’architecture parisien SCAU (Société de conception d'architecture et d'urbanisme), réputé pour sa solide expertise dans la construction de stades. La
nouvelle enceinte est située à proximité directe du vieux stade Jules Deschaseaux qui, après près de 80 années de bons et loyaux services, est
aujourd’hui menacé de délabrement. Outre des matchs de football et des concerts, le nouveau Grand Stade du Havre accueillera aussi des rencontres
de rugby.

Novelle gare de Rosenheim
Nouvelle gare, nouvelles photos !
Dans notre précédente édition, nous avions déjà consacré un article à l'ouverture de la nouvelle gare de Rosenheim, en Haute-Bavière, suite à la
modernisation du site pour quelque 40 millions d'euros. Aujourd’hui, nous sommes heureux de répondre aux nombreuses demandes qui nous ont été
adressées pour la mise à disposition de photographies de meilleure qualité : les clichés que nous vous présentons ici montrent le point d’accès vers
un passage souterrain qui, pour la première fois, offre un accès entièrement libre et adapté aux aveugles jusqu’à tous les quais. Il est recouvert par
une structure de 630 m2 en fibre de verre imprégnée PTFE, qui a été posée sur un cadre BSH sous-tendu par six cordes. La couverture a été conçue
par LEICHT qui, outre les phases de prestations 1 à 7 du barème allemand des honoraires d’architectes et d’ingénieurs, a également pris en charge la
direction technique des travaux.
