The Clicker keypad can be programmed to operate with different brands.
NOTE: The Clicker is not compatible with some rotating code systems such as Genie
Intellicode, Overhead Door Code Dodger or Stanley Secure Code garage door opener
systems developed by several manufactures since 1996.

Determine the BRAND ID of the existing garage door opener or handheld remote
controls. If all remote controls are lost, the BRAND ID is located on the ceiling
mounted motor unit or on the external receiver near the flexible wire antenna.
Also, determine if your motor unit/receiver system has DIP SWITCHES or a
SMART-LEARN BUTTON. Some models require removing the light lens. For further
information, consult your garage door opener manual.
Proceed to the appropriate section for your type of opener and circle your BRAND ID.

switches located in your original remote control or on the motor unit receiver. The
receiver can be mounted on the side or back panel of the motor unit or could be

HELPFUL HINTS
MOUNT THE KEYPAD
Select a smooth vertical surface. Mount the keypad out of the path of the moving
garage door, but within sight of it. At least 4" (10 cm) of clearance is needed above the
keypad in order to slide the cover up.
Slide outside cover up and remove. Remove battery cover. Take battery out of
compartment (it is not necessary to disconnect it). Mount the keypad using the two
mounting holes and screws provided, then reinsert battery, replace battery cover, and
slide outside cover down.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
CLEAR AND START OVER
Press ✽ and # together until keypad stops flashing (5 one second flashes). If both keys
are not pressed down at the same time, the keypad flashes 10 half second flashes
followed by 5 one second flashes. This erases previous programming and returns unit
to unprogrammed factory setting.
FLASHING KEYPAD
The keypad will flash during certain programming sequences — when pressing the ✽
or # key or an incorrect PIN is entered.
Replace the 9 Volt battery when the keypad light becomes dim or does not light up.
Slide the outside cover up, unscrew the battery cover and replace battery. It may be
necessary to reprogram the keypad after battery is replaced.
NOTE: Dispose of old batteries properly.

KEYPAD REMAINS ACTIVE FOR 15 SECONDS
After pressing any key or after entering a correct PIN, the keypad will light steadily for
5 seconds. Once programmed, the keypad remains active for 15 seconds. During this
time you may stop, reverse or reactivate the door by pressing any number on the
keypad.

DÉTERMINATION DE L'IDENTIFICATION DE LA MARQUE
Déterminez le numéro d'IDENTIFICATION DE LA MARQUE de l'ouvre-porte de garage ou des
télécommandes portatives. Si vous avez perdu toutes les télécommandes, le numéro
d'IDENTIFICATION DE LA MARQUE est situé sur la partie supérieure du moteur ou sur le
récepteur externe situé à proximité de l'antenne filaire flexible.
De plus, déterminez si votre moteur/système de récepteur est muni des COMMUTATEURS DIL ou
d'une TOUCHE SMART-LEARN. Certains modèles nécessitent le retrait des diffuseurs d'éclairage.

Suivez le tableau correspondant à la marque de votre appareil, inscrivez la position des commutateurs
DIL de votre télécommande d'origine ou du récepteur du moteur. Le récepteur s'installe sur le
panneau latéral ou arrière du moteur, au plafond ou sur le mur (repérez la petite antenne grise).
5. Appuyez puis relâchez la touche smart-learn du moteur (le témoin indicateur adjacent à la
touche smart-learn doit s'illuminer).
REMARQUE : les systèmes qui comportent un bouton smart-learn jaune, blanc ou gris disposeront
de commutateurs codés sur la télécommande d'origine. Si vous ne disposez pas de télécommandes
programmées, sélectionnez un code aléatoire à 9 chiffres à l'aide de la boîte ci-dessous.
Si le commutateur est sur la position plus (+)
inscrivez un 1, sur la position neutre (0)
inscrivez un 2, sur la position négative (-)
un 3 dans la case correspondante du tableau
ci-dessous.
Si le commutateur est sur la position « on » ou
« up » (élevée) inscrivez un 1; « off » ou
« down » (abaissée) inscrivez un 2 dans la

INSTALLATION DU CLAVIER
Choisissez une surface verticale lisse. Installez le clavier hors de la trajectoire de la porte de
garage en mouvement mais en vue. Prévoyez au moins 10 cm (4 po) de dégagement au-dessus du
clavier afin de pouvoir glisser le couvercle du dispositif.
Glissez le couvercle externe vers le haut et retirez-le. Retirez également le couvercle de la pile.
Retirez le compartiment à pile (il n'est pas nécessaire de le débrancher). Installez le clavier avec
les vis fournies. Utilisez les trous de fixation à cet effet puis réinsérez a pile, remettez le couvercle
de pile en place et abaissez le couvercle externe.
La programmation est terminée. Pour effectuer un essai, appuyez sur les touches 1 2 3 4 et sur
toute autre touche numérique supplémentaire. REMARQUE : n'utilisez pas les touches étoile (✽)
ou dièse (#) comme nombre supplémentaire.
Passez à l'étape 3.
CONSEILS PRATIQUES
REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
RÉINITIALISATION DE L'APPAREIL
Appuyez simultanément sur les touches ✽ et # jusqu'à ce que le clavier cesse de clignoter
(5 clignotements d'une seconde). Si les deux touches ne sont pas enfoncées simultanément, le
clavier émet dix clignotements d'une demi-seconde suivi de cinq autres d'une seconde. Cette
séquence efface la programmation antérieure et l'appareil reprend la configuration mise en
mémoire à l'usine.
CLAVIER CLIGNOTANT
Le clavier clignotera pour certaine séquence de programmation notamment si la touche ✽ ou #
est enfoncée ou lors de la saisie d'un NIP erroné.
LE CLAVIER DEMEURE ACTIF PENDANT 15 SECONDES
Après avoir appuyé sur une touche ou saisit un NIP correct, le clavier restera illuminé pendant
5 secondes. Après la programmation, le clavier demeure actif pendant 15 secondes. Au cours de
cette période, il est possible d'arrêter, d'inverser le mouvement de la porte de garage ou de la
réactionner en appuyant sur n'importe quelle touche du clavier.
Remplacez la pile de 9 volts lorsque l'illumination du clavier s'atténue ou s'éteint. Relevez le
couvercle externe, dévissez le couvercle de la pile et remplacez-la. Au besoin, reprogrammez
le clavier après le changement de pile.
REMARQUE : Jetez les anciennes piles de manière adéquate.
