SCS PRO VAR AGREEMENT
Hong Kong – La Ciotat August, October 1st, 2007 – Innova Card, a leading hardware and software
provider for trusted terminals announces that it has signed a VAR (Value Added Reseller) agreement
with SCS Pro Co Ltd., a Korean Smart Card solutions supplier.
SCS Pro will actively market and sell USIP® based solutions to customers requiring a high level of
security. They will use USIP® Platform to extend their existing solutions and services portfolio. This
agreement confirms Korean’s firm strategy to reinforce its position on payment solutions.
Innova Card provides a full turn-key solution that includes not only silicon but also a full security
software package that makes security certifications like PCI-PED or EMV much easier. Additionally
Linux operating system is available since 2004 while a virtualization solution has been recently
introduced to increase software security level even further.
“This VAR agreement is the first one signed by Innova Card. It will strengthen our distribution
channel”, said Gregory Guez, Managing Director of Innova Card Asia. “The value brought by SCS
Pro’s highly knowledgeable team will reinforce our turnkey solution strategy“, he added.
