Toepassing
CTEC LX 300 is een neutraal, reukloos, helder koud-ontvettingsmiddel, hoofdzakelijk
ontwikkeld voor toepassing in de metaalverwerkende en elektrotechnische industrie voor het
verwijderen van oliën, vetten, vuil, boor- en snijoliën e.d. op onderdelen van motoren en
machines, mechanische, elektrische en elektronische apparatuur, elektromotoren, enz.
CTEC LX 300 is door zijn reukloze karakter bijzonder geschikt voor bedrijven, werkplaatsen,
revisie-afdelingen, aan boord van schepen en overal waar speciale eisen ten aanzien van
het ontbreken van hinderlijke geur van ontvettingsmiddelen worden gesteld. Een extra
voordeel van CTEC LX 300 is het hoge vlampunt.
CTEC LX 300 wordt reeds toegepast in de metaalindustrie, elektrotechnische industrie,
scheepswerven, raffinaderijen, chemische industrie alsmede in de scheepvaart,
transportbedrijven, e.d.. In al deze sectoren heeft de toepassing van CTEC LX 300 vaak
geleid tot kostenbesparing, een prettiger werkklimaat en een lagere belasting van het milieu.

Productbeschrijving
CTEC LX 300 is een neutrale, waterheldere vloeistof. Bevat geen zure of alkalische stoffen.
Niet agressief. Bevat geen gechloreerde koolwaterstoffen. Bevat praktisch geen
aromatische koolwaterstoffen. Bevat geen benzeen, geen hexaan, geen
tetrachloorkoolstof, geen perchloorethyleen, geen trichloorethyleen.
CTEC LX 300 heeft praktisch geen geur en is veilig bij normaal gebruik.
Hoog vlampunt : ± 63° C (closed up).
Ten gevolge van de afwezigheid van gechloreerde en aromatische koolwaterstoffen is
bedwelmingsgevaar uit dien hoofde dan ook niet aanwezig.
Verdampt langzaam. Verdampingsverliezen zijn daarom bijzonder gering
(= kostenbesparing). Economisch in het gebruik. Relatieve ventilatiebehoefte is zeer gering.
Minder gevaarlijk en schadelijk dan bv. terpentine (white spirit), petroleum, benzine,
wasbenzine, thinner, verfverdunners, gasolie, dieselolie, vele gechloreerde producten en vele
andere verouderde ontvettingsmiddelen.
CTEC LX 300 tast metaal, kunststof, isolatiemateriaal, rubber en bestaande verflagen niet
aan. De hechting van opeenvolgende conventionele verflagen wordt niet nadelig
beïnvloed, na droging van LX 300. Geen kans op vorming van giftige dampen in nabijheid
van laswerkzaamheden. Vormt geen fotochemische smog. Laat geen residu-geur achter.
Niet corrosief. Wordt altijd geleverd in nieuwe drums.

Gebruiksaanwijzing
Voor ontvetting en reiniging wordt het product koud gebruikt door middel van borstelen,
spuiten of dompelen, of een combinatie daarvan. Grote objecten kunnen worden
afgespoten; spuit liever een dunne straal dan een nevel.
Ontvetting dient bij voorkeur in een reinigingsmachine te geschieden, die voorzien is van een
goed afsluitend deksel, een pneumatische of andere agitatie, spuitpistolen en een goede

afzuiging. In eenvoudige dompelbaden kan de reinigende werking versterkt worden door
inblazen van lucht, borstelen of spuiten. Dek het dompelbad af indien het niet in gebruik is.
In vele gevallen kan LX 300 ook uitstekend toegepast worden met behulp van de CTEC
onderdelenreinigingstafels voor het snel en doelmatig ontvetten van kleine onderdelen.
Ingeval de langzame droging van CTEC LX 300 een bezwaar zou zijn, kunnen voorwerpen na
ontvetting desgewenst met perslucht of met warme lucht worden droog geblazen, maar
zorg dan voor goede ventilatie.
Draag tijdens gebruik en manipulatie met product bij voorkeur goede rubber of plastic
handschoenen om ontvetting van de huid tegen te gaan. Niet gebruiken bij open vuur, niet
roken tijdens het werk, product niet verwarmen. Zorg steeds voor goede ventilatie.
Behandel geen objecten die een hogere temperatuur hebben dan het vlampunt van CTEC
LX 300.

CTEC LX 300 is een koolwaterstof-oplosmiddel mengsel, bestaande uit hoofdzakelijk
alifatische koolwaterstoffen. Bevat praktisch geen onverzadigde bestanddelen, zoals
aromaten en olefinen. Bevat geen gechloreerde koolwaterstoffen.
Milieu
Waarschuwing : het is ingevolge voorschriften van de overheid niet toegestaan LX 300 en/of
oliehoudend afvalwater rechtsreeks in het gemeenteriool of oppervlaktewater te lozen, doch
uitsluitend via een olie-afscheider, geïnstalleerd volgens voorschriften van de overheid.
Echter, ook indien U het vrijwel altijd nog over een lozingsvergunning van de gemeente of de
waterkwaliteitbeheerder te beschikken.

Application
CTEC LX 300 est un liquide neutre, clair et sans aucune odeur désagréable, développé pour
le dégraissage à froid, pour les industries métallurgiques et électrotechniques. Enlève la
plupart des huiles, graisses, résidus graisseux, huiles de coupe et huiles solubles qui se trouvent
sur toutes sortes d’objets métalliques, tôle, pièces de moteurs et machines, appareillage
électrique et électrotechnique, générateurs, etc. …
A cause de son caractère INODORE, ce nouveau dégraissant est extrêmement approprié
pour les ateliers, chantiers, ateliers de réparation, à bord de navires et dans toute situation où
l’absence de toute odeur désagréable est prescrite ou au moins très désirable. Un avantage
supplémentaire de CTEC LX 300 est son point d’inflammation très élevé.
CTEC LX 300 se trouve déjà son application à l’industrie métallurgique et électronique, aux
chantiers navals, aux raffineries, à l’industrie chimique ainsi que dans les centrales
d’électricité ; chez la police, au transport en commun, aux travaux publics et à la
navigation ; aux entreprises de transport etc. … Dans touts ces secteurs, l’utilisation de CTEC
LX 300 a souvent effectué des économies, une amélioration des conditions de travail, ainsi
qu’une diminution de la détérioration de l’environnement.

Description
CTEC LX 300 est un liquide neutre, clair comme de l’eau. Il ne contient pas d’acides ou
matériaux alcalins. Le produit n’est pas agressif. Il est exempt d’hydrocarbures chlorés ; il ne
contient pratiquement pas d’hydrocarbures aromatiques. Ne contient pas de benzène ni
d’hexane, pas de tétrachlorure, pas de perchloréthylène, ni de trichloréthylène.
CTEC LX 300 ne présente pratiquement aucune odeur gênante et il est sûr pendant son
utilisation normale.
Point éclair élevé : ± 63° C (closed cup).
Le danger d’étourdissement est exclu grâce à l’absence d’hydrocarbures chlorés et
aromatiques.
Evaporation lente. Pertes d’évaporation sont par conséquent très faibles (= économies). Il
est économique à l’emploi. Nécessité de ventilation relative : très minime. Beaucoup moins
dangereux et toxique que le white-spirit, pétrole, térébenthine, thinners, diluants, produits
chlorés et beaucoup d’autres produits de dégraissage plutôt périmés.
CTEC LX 300 n’attaque pas les métaux, matières plastiques, caoutchouc, matières d’isolation,
ni les couches de peinture existantes. Il ne gêne pas l’adhérence de plusieurs couches de
peinture conventionnelles, après le séchage du produit. Ne produit aucune vapeur toxique
lors de travaux de soudage. Ne forme pas de brouillard photochimique. Ne laisse pas
d’odeur résidu, n’est pas corrosif.
CTEC LX 300 est toujours livré dans de fûts neufs.

Mode d’emploi
Le dégraissage ou nettoyage se fait à froid, en pistolant, en plongeant ou en projetant, ou
une combinaison de ces opérations. Des objets plus grands peuvent être nettoyés au jet, il
est à conseiller de créer un jet « mince » sans pulvérisation. De préférence le dégraissage
doit s’effectuer dans une fontaine de nettoyage de pièces, munie d’un couvercle bien
fermable, d’une agitation pneumatique ou autre, des rampes à jet et une bonne aspiration.
Dans des bains simples au trempé, l’action nettoyante peut être fortifiée en insufflant de l’air,
en brossant ou en jettant. Il faut toujours couvrir le bain quand il n’est pas utilisé.

Souvent, pour le dégraissage accéléré et efficace de petites pièces, CTEC LX 300 peut
parfaitement être appliqué dans une fontaine de nettoyage pièces CTEC comme p.ex. le
type Mammouth.
Au cas ou le séchage plutôt lent du CTEC LX 300 poserait un inconvéniant, les pièces
peuvent être séchées à l’air comprimé chaud ou froid, prenez alors soin d’une bonne
ventilation.
Il est à conseiller de porter des gants de protection en caoutchouc ou en plastique afin
d’éviter le dégraissage de la peau. Ne pas utiliser auprès d’un feu ouvert, ne pas fumer
pendant le travail, ne pas échauffer le produit. Portez toujours soin d’une bonne ventilation.
Ne traitez pas d’objets ayant une température plus élevée que le point d’inflammation de LX
300.

CTEC LX 300 est un mélange d’hydrocarbures, composée en principal d’hydrocarbures
aliphatiques. Ne contient pratiquement pas de composants insaturés, comme p.ex. les
aromates et les oléfines. Ne contient pas d’hydrocarbure chlorée.
Environnement
Avertissement : suivant les directives du gouvernement il est interdit de déverser CTEC LX 300
et/ou des eaux saturées directements dans les égouts ou dans les eaux de surface. Le
déversement peut uniquement s’effectuer par un déshuileur, monté suivant les directives du
gouvernement. Et, même si vous déversez le produit saturé moyennant un déshuileur, il est
toujours obligatoire de posséder une autorisation de rejet de votre commune ou des
autorités couvrant la qualité de l’eau.

Application
CTEC LX 300 is a neutral, odourless and clear degreasing fluid for cold-degreasing, especially
developed for the metal-working and electro-technical industries, for the removal of oils, fatty
matter, soil, cutting and drilling oils, etc. … from metal objects, sheet metal, parts of engines
and machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical and electronic equipment, electro
engines, etc. …
Because of its odourless character, CTEC LX 300 is extremely suitable for companies, work
shops, repair shops, on ships, etc. … and everywhere where special requirements are
applied about the absence of badly smelling vapours of degreasing products. An extra
advantage of CTEC LX 300 is its high flashpoint.
Until now, CTEC LX 300 finds its application in the metal-working and electro-technical
industries, shipyards, refineries, chemical industries, also in electricity centrals, with the police,
the public transport, the corporation works and the navigation, transport companies etc. ….
In all those sections the use of CTEC LX 300 has often leaded to reduced expenses, a more
pleasant work-climate and a lesser charging of the environment.
Product description
CTEC LX 300 is a neutral, water clear liquid, it does not contain any acid or alkaline
ingredients, it is not aggressive. It is free of chlorinated hydrocarbons. Contains hardly any
aromatic hydrocarbons. This product is free of benzene, hexane, tetrachlorinecarbon,
perchlorethylene, trichloroethylene.
CTEC LX 300 has hardly any odour at all and it is safe in normal use. The flashpoint is approx.
60° C (closed up).
Because CTEC LX 300 doesn't contain any chlorinated, nor aromatic hydrocarbons, there is
no danger of stupefaction.

It evaporates slowly. Evaporation losses are therefore very low (= decreased costs).
CTEC LX 300 has a very economic consumption. Its relative need of ventilation is very low.
This product is less dangerous and less harmful than f.e. mineral spirit (white spirit), petroleum,
dry-cleaning naphtha, thinner, paint-thinner, gas oil, diesel oil, many chlorinated products
and many conventional degreasers.
CTEC LX 300 does not attack metal, plastics, isolating materials, rubber, nor existing paint films.
Adhesion of subsequent paint films is not negatively affected after CTEC LX 300 has dried up.
No danger of toxic vapours when used in the proximity of welding activities. Does not form
any photochemical smog. Has no residual odour. Is not corrosive. Is always delivered in new
drums.

Instructions for use
For degreasing and cleaning CTEC LX 300 is used cold by means of brushing, spraying or
dipping, or a combination of these actions. Big objects can be sprayed; it is better to spray a
thin jet than to create a haze. Degreasing can also be effected in a component cleaning
table, provided with a properly fitting cover, pneumatic or other agitation, spray guns and a
good exhausting system. In simple immersion plants, the cleaning effect can be increased by
air injection, brushing or spraying. Close the immersion bath when it is not used.
In many cases CTEC LX 300 can also be used in a CTEC component cleaning table for the
quick and appropriate degreasing of parts.
When the slow drying of CTEC LX 300 causes an objection, the parts can be blown dry with
compressed air.
CTEC LX 300 cannot be used in vapour-degreasing equipment. It is advisable to wear good
rubber (f.e. neoprene) or plastic gloves to prevent degreasing of the skin. Do not use the
product in the proximity of an open fire, don't smoke when working with the product, do not

heat the product. Always provide an adequate ventilation. Do not treat objects which have
the same or a higher temperature than the flashpoint of CTEC LX 300.
