Patrick Dupérron – “Life, woman, obscurity”
Patrick Dupérron – “Life, woman, obscurity”
Within a few years Partick Dupérron, talented artist and smart observer, has managed to
create his own distinctive style. His art is dynamic and poetic, with a breeze of subtle irony.
Patrick Dupérron paints like others write; his works are an intuitive cocktail composed of the
elements: life, women and obscurity. He paints themes about everyday life with an impressive
imagination, always new, always unexpected.
His signature and the famous red dot complete and ennoble each of his pieces. The red dot
represents the final act, the victory over the adversities of life and art.
Patrick Dupérron was born the 23th of June 1958 in Lille, France. At the age of 7 he
discovered art. He spent his childhood surrounded by nature, painting landscapes and still
lifes. At the age of 19 he decided to settle down and to work as a sports trainer. From 1983
to 1999 he worked successfully on his career as an athlete, but the art was always
omnipresent on his mind.
Finally he decided to give his life to art and to become a full time artist. Since then he has
been living from his paintings.
He spent his first years as a professional painter in Paris, in 2004 Patrick decided to live and
work in the Côte d’Azur.
