TROIS SPECTACLES DE JUST FOR LAUGHS THEATRICALS EN
NOMINATION AUX 70E TONY AWARDS
Montréal, le mardi 3 mai 2016 – Just for laughs Theatricals, la division théâtre de Juste pour rire, est fière d’annoncer la
nomination de trois de ses coproductions à la 70e édition des mythiques Tony Awards. Les pièces de théâtres Arthur
Miller's The Crucible et Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge se retrouvent parmi les nommées dans la catégorie Best
revival of a play alors que The Color Purple récolte une nomination pour Best revival of a musical.
L’excellence des trois productions est soulignée dans plusieurs autres catégories, notamment Best Director of a
Play, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Lighting Design of a
Play et Best Direction of a Play pour Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge. La pièce Arthur Miller’s The Crucible est
également en nomination dans les catégories Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play, Best
Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play ainsi que Best Lighting Design of a Play. Finalement, The Color
Purple récolte des nominations pour Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, Best Performance by
an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical et Best Direction of a Musical.
Rappelons que l’an dernier la pièce The Curious incident of the dog in the night time coproduite par JFL Theatricals a raflé
5 Tony dont le très convoité ''BEST PLAY'' (meilleure pièce de théâtre).
