As a patent attorney, Maria is working primarily with opposition procedures before the
European Patent Office, with infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses, prosecution and
drafting. She has experience within the areas of mechanics, physics and medical devices. In
particular she has been working with hygiene products, including also their packaging and
dispensers, with vehicle industry, ranging from interior design to combustion engine
technology, and with medical implants, particularly dental implants.
Maria has worked as a patent attorney since 1997, and qualified as a European Patent Attorney
in 2002.
