This version is compatible with sessions from V1.0
If you are upgrading a console that is running a software version earlier than V0.10
The following procedure assumes that you reimaged your console SATA drive when we provided an
upgrade for early consoles (ie you removed the card and copied the new image to it) – so please
make sure that this is the case before proceeding.
Do NOT attempt to use the procedure below until this has been done. If you have lost the information
about this, please contact [email protected]
When the console first runs the application after the upgrade, you will be prompted and required to
enter the console serial number. This is located on the console rear panel. Once entered and
validated this information will not be required again.
If you are upgrading a console that is already running V0.10 or later (including
consoles running current version V1.0)
Follow the standard upgrade procedure below:

Download the ZIP file (see link below) and extract/unzip the file named update.dcu on your
computer
Copy the unzipped file to the root folder of a USB key (please ensure that the file is in the
ROOT folder and not in a sub folder – also ensure that it is called update.dcu)
Switch the console off
Insert the USB key in the console USB port
Hold down the “Overview” button on the console worksurface (see image below)
Switch the console on and keep the overview button held for about 5 seconds and then
release it
You should then see a series of icons on the screen starting with a clock icon
Wait for the console application to boot
Open the main menu and check the version number at the bottom of the screen – it should
be V1.0.1
Power cycle the console

Pour chaque bac de 10 faders de la console il faut effectuer un upgrade du bac
Firmware upgrade
There is new worksurface code (V51) in the package that will need to be applied to both surfaces.
The procedure is as follows:
For one section at a time:
a) Power off
b) Power on while holding down both the 1st and 10th channel mute buttons down until you see
the engine icon appear on screen and then release the buttons.
c) Wait until the App starts and you should then see a progress display indicating that the
upgrade has started – wait for this to finish
d) Power off again and repeat the above procedure for the second section holding the 1 st and 10th
channel mutes in that section (Mutes 11 and 20)
e) Wait for the update to finish and power cycle the console again
f) Open the Main Menu > Diagnostics view and check that both surfaces report code Version 51
