Java Virtual Machine configuration
From the web interface of your MSX-ilog data logger (“Administration/Software download”), you can
download the program “ilog Exporter”.
This software enables you to export the acquired data in an XML or CSV file or to view a curve diagram
of the whole acquisition.
Since the “ilog Exporter” program is written in Java and uses a lot of resources, you have to install a
Java Virtual Machine on your computer.
From the Java web interface (www.java.com), you can download the latest version of this software for
free. If you already have a Java Virtual Machine installed on your computer, make sure that it
corresponds to version 1.6 or higher.
After the installation, this software must be configured as follows:
Click on “Start/Control Panel”.
Double-click on “System”.
(Windows 7: Click on “System and Security/System”.)
In the window “System Properties”, click on the “Advanced” tab.
(Windows 7: On the left, click on “Advanced system settings”.)
