Avec les événements survenus au cours des
dernières semaines au Québec entourant les
chiens de race Pitt Bull, nous croyons le
moment approprié pour effectuer un rappel
concernant la règlementation municipale unifiée
en vigueur sur le territoire de la MRC des
Collines-de-l’Outaouais concernant les chiens
jugés « Dangereux » et « Interdits » depuis plus
de 10 ans. Il est important que tous nos citoyens
actuels et éventuels comprennent bien la
règlementation en vigueur, et c’est pourquoi
nous vous invitons fortement à consulter le tout
auprès de votre municipalité. Vous trouverez le
tout à l’article 7.13 et suivants du règlement
portant sur les animaux. Pour effectuer une
plainte en cette matière, les citoyens de toutes
les municipalités (sauf ceux habitant à NotreDame-de-la-Salette)
doivent
communiquer
directement avec la SPCA de l’Outaouais au
819-243-2004. Pour les gens habitant à NotreDame-de-la-Salette,
ceux-ci
doivent
communiquer directement avec la municipalité
au 819-766-2533.
Following events which occurred in recent
weeks in Quebec surrounding the Pitt Bull
breed of dogs, we believe that this an
appropriate occasion to issue a reminder in
relation to the standardized municipal by-law in
force on the territory of the MRC des Collinesde-l’Outaouais and dealing with dogs
considered to be « Dangerous » and «
Prohibited » for the past 10 years. It is
important for our current and future residents
to understand the by-law currently in place,
and that is why we strongly urge you to consult
it with your municipality. You will find this
information in Article 7.13 and following articles
of the animal by-law. To register a complaint,
residents of all municipalities (excluding
residents of the municipality of Notre-Damede-la-Salette) must contact directly the
Outaouais « SPCA » at 819-243-2004. For
residents of the municipality of Notre-Damede-la-Salette, you must contact directly your
municipality at 819-766-2533.
