Nouveau Projet en Kenya
OTEPIC recherche des fonds pour construire un
puits d’eau potable ainsi que d'informer la
population du Village Sabwani sur tous les aspects
d'hygiène d'eau, d'assainissement et d'élimination
des déchets du village situé dans la Vallée du Rift
au Kenya. Ce projet fournira de l’eau potable à 3,000
personnes et diminuera de 50 % le risque de
maladie lié à la consommation des eaux nontraitées. Grâce à ce projet OTEPIC espère également
avoir un impact sur la réduction de la pauvreté en
diminuant les frais lié à l’achat de médicaments
mais
également
une
augmentation
du
développement économique local, en raison de
l'amélioration substantielle de la santé de la
population
New Project in Kenya
OTEPIC is seeking funds in order to sink a
borehole for clean, safe water and provide
education and training on all aspects of water
hygiene and sanitation, and waste disposal in
Sabwani Village, situated in the Rift Valley, Kenya.
Clean water for up to 3,000 people and up to an
estimated 50% reduction in water borne diseases.
OTEPIC also expects a reduction in poverty due to
reduced family expenditure on medication plus, a
noticeable increase in the local economic
development, due to the substantial improvement
in health.

1. Éducation et formation en artisanat : une ouverture
pour l'emploi au Mozambique
L'objectif du projet est d'offrir des cours et une
formation pratique pour une période d'environ 9 mois,
deux fois par semaine, aux jeunes étudiants venant
de Nampula (nord du Mozambique) dans différents
domaines développés par ‘Nairucu­Arts’ : sculpture,
poterie et couture. Les plus talentueux auront la
possibilité d'adhérer aux activités associatives et de
gagner un revenu grâce à leur métier.
1. Education and training on art­crafts: an opening
for jobs in Mozambique
The aim of the project is to provide courses and
practical training for a period of about 9 months,
twice a week, to young students coming from
Nampula (Northern Mozambique) in different areas
developed by ‘Nairucu­Arts’: sculpture, pottery and
sewing. The most talented get afterward the
possibility to join the Association activities and will
have an income out of the mastered one.
2. Éducation et réhabilitation des victimes de la traite
et des violences sexuelles au Guatemala
L’Association ‘La Alianza’ au Guatemala a mis en
place un programme d’éducation pour les jeunes et
de réadaptation pour les filles victimes de réseaux de
trafic sexuel. L’accès à la lecture étant difficile pour
eux, les jeunes sont souvent analphabètes et
démotivés de lire. C’est pour cela qu’une bibliothèque
a été mise en place avec un matériel éducatif adapté
aux différents niveaux d'enseignement. L'objectif du
projet est d'étendre la bibliothèque existante et de la
transformer en supports multimédias.
2. Education for the rehabilitation of victims of
trafficking and sexual violence in Guatemala
‘La Alianza’ Association in Guatemala has
implemented an educational program for the youth
and a rehabilitation for the girls taken out from
various sexual trafficking networks. Because of a
restricted access to reading, youth is often illiterate
and demotivated to read. For this reason, a library
has been set up and adapted with a more important
education material to different education levels. The
aim of the project is to extend the existent library
and transform it into a multimedia one.
3. Prévention de la malnutrition infantile auprès des
femmes enceintes au Pérou
Le but du projet de l’Association péruvienne ‘Enfants
de Cusco’ est d’encadrer un groupe de 10 mères de
Cusco dans leurs premiers mois de grossesse et de
les former à la nutrition par le moyen de cours
collectifs. Celles qui auront participé régulièrement
recevront des vivres pour un montant équivalent à
environ 14 dollars. Pendant un an, 40 mères (soit 10
par trimestre) recevront une alimentation équilibrée et
leurs bébés viendront au monde avec un poids
normal et sans carences alimentaires à la naissance.
3. Prevention of the malnutrition of the infant with
the pregnant woman in Peru
The goal of the project of ‘Children of Cusco’
Association is to enrol a group of 10 mothers in
Cusco, Peru in their first month of pregnancy and
instruct them on nutrition, by their participation in
training. Each mother who has attended regularly
will receive food for a value which is equivalent to
approximately 14 dollars. During a year 40 mothers
(10 per quarter) will receive a balanced diet and
their babies come into the world with a normal
weight without suffering from nutritional deficiencies
at birth.
