CHANGES TO THE
SIEMENS RWF.. PRODUCT RANGE
We wish to advise that production of the entire RWF40 series of controls has been discontinued by
Siemens Germany. The control that replaces all variants of the RWF40 is the RWF55.50A9. This
control performs all functions of the RWF40 versions in one control, along with added functionality.
It should be noted that the terminal layout is different and also that some parameters are now in
different groups compared to the RWF40. The major addition is the inclusion of a USB port to
enable programming via PC/Laptop. Software part number ACS411 is required. The RWF55
does not need to be powered up to enable programming via USB.
