IMPORTANT: Change one shoelace at a time and use the other shoe as a guide.

Remove the screw,
knob and spring using
the Boa tool.

Pull spool out,
cut off knots and
remove old lace.
Using SHARP scissors,
cut a new lace the same
length as the old.

NOTE: Some new laces may
not require cutting.

Insert lace into
holes and out through
center of housing.

Insert lace into
bottom holes of spool.
(Use new spool if you
are installing a new reel).
Pull on laces to tighten
knots and seat spool
into housing.

Replace the lace
exactly as it
was before.

Because of Dynamic Closure, pressure
points are reduced or eliminated.
CLOSURE IS SOLID
The Boa lace does not stretch and
the reel will not loosen. Closure is
consistent and reliable.
ON-THE-FLY ADJUSTABLE FIT
Closure force can be adjusted minutely
and instantly to “dial in” the perfect fit.
REPLACEABLE COMPONENTS
The Boa System is designed with
components that are easily replaceable.
New laces can be installed in minutes and,
in the unlikely event of a reel problem, a new
reel can be installed easily and quickly.
LIGHT WEIGHT
The Boa System is extremely light weight
and doesn’t absorb water so it stays light
when wet.
SPARE LACES AND SPARE REELS
NOTE: Rotate the knob a
few times to ensure alignment.
Then tighten the screw FIRMLY.

Gehäuse. WICHTIG: Stecken Sie
die Enden der Schnürsenkel mit
Hilfe des Boa-Tools in die Spule ein.

Stecken Sie den Schnürsenkel in die
unteren Löcher der Spule ein. (Beim
Montieren einer neuen Rolle sollte auch
eine neue Spule verwendet werden.)
WICHTIG: Hinter jedem Knoten sollte 5 bis
10 mm Länge bis Ende des Schnürsenkels
gelassen werden.
Introduire le lacet dans les trous inférieurs
du tambour. (Utiliser un nouveau tambour
si une nouvelle bobine est installée.)
IMPORTANT : laisser 5 à 10 mm de lacet
au-delà de chaque nœud.

Ziehen Sie die Spule heraus, schneiden Sie
die Knoten ab und entfernen Sie den alten
Schnürsenkel.
