The benefits of having council papers on line are numerous. Mainly having
documentation more readily available to the public encourages active
citizenship and promotes open democracy. Also the need to print off all the
papers is greatly reduced and this frees up taxpayers money to be spent in
other areas and is beneficial to the environment.
