MUSEE DU BOIS ET DE LA MARQUETERIE
The Museum of wood and marquetry. Permanent exhibition dedicated to the excellence in the
woodworking crafts and the nobleness of wood.
Museum dedicated to the woodworking crafts of artistic furniture crafted in Revel. The newly
arranged display areas added to the richness of the collections provide an exceptional setting
for your initiation into the heart of the ?City of furniture as art?.
Permanent exhibitions: from trees to art objects. Presentation of forests, their ecosystems and
development, recognition of kinds of wood, the lumber and pulpwood industries, insect
terrariums and parasitology, forested space and mini arboretum. Wood related professions
displayed by automatons, Revel galleries and art workshops: the historical and marquetry
centre.
Dates et horaires d'ouverture
From 06/02/2016 to 31/12/2016 (du mardi au samedi de 10h30 à 12h30 et de 14h à 18h.
Ouvert le 1er dimanche de chaque mois de 14h à 18h. Ouvert le dimanche de Pâques, le 1er
mai, le 16 mai, le 1er novembre, le 11 novembre.)
From 01/07/2016 to 31/08/2016 (Ouvert tous les jours de 10h30 à 12h30 et de 14h à 19h. )
Ouvert tous les 1ers dimanche du mois de 14h à 18h.
Fermé le lundi de Pâques, le 8 mai et le 25 décembre.
