Invitation for Sponsorship and Raffle Prizes
Dear Friends of Rotary：
We are writing to you to propose a win / win project: Be our event sponsor through making a
donation or support our Raffle Draw at the Rotary Charity Bazaar through a donation in – kind. Your
donation will support great charity programs and help promote your company to a large group of
upscale customers at the same time.
Founded in 1905, Rotary is the world’s first volunteer service organization dedicated to advancing
world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of
education and the alleviation of poverty. Every year the Rotary Club of Beijing supports many
worthy charity projects that change lives and save lives. Projects which we have supported in the
past include Gift of Life which has provided life saving surgery to over 420 children in need, Maple
Hotline which provides counseling, children libraries, literacy projects, etc.
To support our charity work, the Rotary Charity Bazaar is one of the main fundraising events for our
club with 100% of raised fund going to support our charity projects in China. Built on the success of
our Bazaar last year, we are again hosting our Charity Bazaar at the Kempinski Hotel this year from
Nov 9 – 10th. At the event we will have a host of interesting performances, shopping, children
arts auction, educational talks, raffle draws, etc for a weekend of great fun. The event will be
heavily advertised to all the expatriate communities and international schools with an estimated
reach of 6,000+ people.
To support our fundraising, we are selling raffle tickets in advance of the bazaar. Since our success
depends a lot on the generous support from the corporate sector, we sincerely hope your company
would consider donating prizes to help us raise more money for charitable causes. Of course your
company’s donation will be acknowledged and publicized to a wide group of selected audiences
through our event communication.
You are most welcome to donate big prizes or multiples of smaller prizes with face value ranging
100-500 yuan as great prizes and high winning ratio will both enable us to sell more tickets. If the
total value of your donation is over 5000 yuan, please email your company logo and we shall try to
include it in our promotional materials.
Also, we are seeking corporate sponsors for our event. As major sponsors, your company’s logo will
be displayed in our communication and your promotion materials will be distributed to all the
