Dollhouse
Make your own dollhouse from a cardboard box!
Materials Needed:
• One corrugated card box (any size),
• Different size boxes from cereal to jello or blocks of wood
• Markers, scraps of material, magazines.
Directions:
1. The card board box is your house.
2. If you have an old piece of carpet, cut it to fit the bottom of
your box for a rug, or make throw rugs from scraps of material.
3. Cut pictures from magazines and hang (tape) on the wall
4. Wrap small boxes (such as jello) with brown grocery bag
paper and decorate as a stove or refrigerator.
5. Make all your furniture from different size boxes. If you have
some small pieces of wood, you could draw your refrigerator
door on it, or a stove using markers.
6. Make sure the wood is sanded to avoid slivers.
7. Use a thimble for a waste basket.
There are many items that could be used in your dollhouse.
Again, this is another project for all age groups with a lot of
imagination, and a great use for junk lying around the house.
