The Yères is a short coastal river starting its life in Aubermesnil-aux-Etables,
winding through the heart of a remarquably well-preserved valley before
joining the Channel at Criel-sur-Mer.
• A well sign-posted route of 50 kms will allow you to discover the
small villages of the coast and the Valley.
Signposts in the villages will inform you of the local history and
heritage.
• The “Velo relax” circuit of 25 kms is partially signposted and takes
you on small roads with gentle slopes.

The village takes its name from its location in the
middle of the forest of Eu.
Melleville
From the Manor of Melleville’s Lordship remains
a monumental gate.
In the hamlet of Val du Roy, Henri IV
used to have a rest and take some
refreshment in a big farm house
during his journeys.
The village owes its name to the 7
mills which used to rotate situated
along the river Yères.
