Luxembourg B 44 867 Information to the unitholders of Mitteilung an die Anteilinhaber des Avis aux porteurs de parts du CREDIT SUISSE EQUITY FUND (LUX) Notice to the Unitholders of Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) Further to the agreement of Credit Suisse to sell parts of Global Investors to Aberdeen Asset Management plc in return for an ownership stake in the enlarged Aberdeen group, notice is hereby given to the Unitholders of Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) that the above-mentioned Management Company has decided to replace the present investment adviser of the following Subfunds (the “Subfunds”): Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) Asian Property Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) Asian Tigers Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) Greater China Credit Suisse Equity Fund (Lux) Japan Megatrend and to appoint a new investment adviser as of 1 May 2009: Present investment adviser: New investment adviser: Credit Suisse Asset Management (Singapore) Limited Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited is a company limited by shares incorporated in Singapore with its registered office and principal place of business at 21 Church Street, #01–01 Capital Square Two, Singapore, 049480. It is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) of 10 Shenton Way, MAS Building, Singapore 079117, and as such may act as an investment adviser. Unitholders of the Subfunds who do not agree to the change set out above have the option of redeeming all or part of their units free of charge until 3 p.m. on 30 April 2009. Unitholders may obtain the Sales Prospectus, Simplified Prospectus and copies of the Management Regulations free of charge from the registered office of the Management Company or any Selling Agent. Mai 2009 einen neuen Anlageberater zu bestellen: Bisheriger Anlageberater: Neuer Anlageberater: Credit Suisse Asset Management (Singapore) Limited Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited ist eine in Singapur gegründete Aktiengesellschaft mit eingetragenem Sitz und Hauptgeschäftsstelle in 21 Church Street, #01–01 Capital Square Two, Singapur, 049480. Sie untersteht der Aufsicht der Finanzaufsichtsbehörde von Singapur («Monetary Authority of Singapore» – «MAS») mit Sitz in 10 Shenton Way, MAS Building, Singapur, 079117, und kann dementsprechend als Anlageberater agieren. Anteilinhaber der Subfonds, die mit der vorstehenden Änderung nicht einverstanden sind, können ihre Anteile ganz oder teilweise bis zum 30. April 2009 um 15.00 Uhr gebührenfrei zurückgeben. Elle est placée sous la surveillance de la Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), sise 10 Shenton Way, MAS Building, Singapour 079117, et peut, en tant que telle, agir en qualité de conseiller en investissement. Les détenteurs de parts des compartiments qui n’approuvent pas le changement mentionné plus haut ont la possibilité de vendre tout ou partie de leurs parts sans frais d’ici au 30 avril 2009, 15h00.
