Cet atelier cherche à mettre en lumière les médiateurs culturels et matériels de l’amour sur la base d’études de cas en Afrique du
Nord et au Proche-Orient. Les moyens pour communiquer et expérimenter les sentiments de l’amour peuvent être linguistiques,
corporels ou se présenter sous formes d’objets comme des lettres, des images, des échanges de cadeaux, ou encore le mobilier
nécessaire pour le mariage. L’atelier vise à interroger leur efficience symbolique, interactionnelle et matérielle. Il a pour objectif
de développer une approche pragmatique de l’amour, afin de comprendre ses dynamiques en action au-delà de considérations
centrées sur la seule édiction des normes.
