Fine, large à la base, s’effilant vers
l’extrémité. Longueur en proportion du
corps.
Le bout de la queue peut être couvert
d’une fourrure douce et dense, couchée,
et légèrement frisée.
Elastique, ridée sur la tête, le cou, les
pattes et le ventre.
Des rides sont souhaitées
particulierment autour du museau, entre
les oreilles et autour des épaules. Mais
les rides ne doivent pas être prononcées
au point d'affecter les fonctions normales
du chat.
Parfois poils courtes et raides peuvent
être présents sur le museau, les oreilles
et les pattes. La queue peut être
couverte des rares poils.
Chez les jeunes chats le museau peut
être couvert par une fine fourrure.
On préfère la nudité complète.
Semble n’avoir aucun poil.
Un léger duvet résiduel de moins de 2
mm sur le corps.
Légèrement ondulée, souvent des poils
raides sur le corps entier, avec des
parties nues sur la tête, partie supérieure
du cou ou sur le dos, de plus de 2 mm.
