What to expect upon arrival
We have included this preliminary timetable (subject to changes) which sets out some of the dates and times of the main events of the program.
If travelling by car or bus you are welcome to arrive Sunday afternoon or evening. It is important that you advise us of your time of arrival so that your hosts will
be on hand to meet you. If you are not sure of your travel arrangements at the time of registration, please email these to [email protected] once confirmed.
INTERSESSION (MAY-JUNE)
ARRIVAL (recommended) – Sunday, May 14 afternoon or evening
Train arrival - Monday, May 15 (approximately 1 am)
Additional charge of $25/day for earlier arrivals (Saturday or Sunday am)
ORIENTATION/WORKSHOP SELECTION – Monday, May 15 (1:30 pm)
OPENING CEREMONY - Monday, May 15 at 8 pm in auditorium
FIRST CLASS - Tuesday, May 16 at 9 am
WORKSHOPS – each weekday afternoon (1:30 pm)
ADD/DROP deadline - Thursday, May 18 at 4:30 pm
CREDIT STATUS Confirmation - Thursday, May 18 at 4:30
Québec City field trip - June 9-11
FINAL EXAM - Wednesday, June 14 in the morning
CLOSING CEREMONY - Wednesday, June 14 at 8 pm in the Auditorium
Train departure** - Thursday, June 15 (around 2:30 am). All other departures
should take place after breakfast.
Additional charge of $25/day for later departures.

If for an exceptional reason you need to arrive before Sunday afternoon or evening or remain after breakfast on the day of departure, we must be advised of
your expected arrival/departure times so that we can check with your host family to see if they will be available. An additional fee of $25/day may apply.
The following is an example of sociocultural activities that may be offered over the course of the session (subject to weather and availability).
