L'Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL), implanté à Grenoble, est un centre international de recherche

haut niveau dans des domaines aussi variés que la physique de la matière condensée, la
cristallographie, la matière molle, la biologie, la chimie et la physique fondamentale. Financé
principalement par les 3 pays fondateurs, France, Allemagne et Royaume-Uni, l'ILL a également
signé des accords de collaboration scientifique avec 12 autres pays. La Division Science recherche :
SCIENTIFIQUE
en cristallographie macromoléculaire - h / f
Le groupe Diffraction de l'ILL exploite un parc important de diffractomètres de poudre et
monocristaux destinés à des programmes de recherche collaboratifs dans différents domaines de la
chimie, de la physique, des sciences des matériaux, de l'ingénierie et de la structure des protéines.
Nous recherchons un scientifique pour travailler sur l'instrument D19 qui est spécialisé dans la
cristallographie des petites molécules, avec des mailles cristallographiques allant jusqu'à
50 x 50 x 50 Å3. Il est également bien adapté pour l'étude des polymères/biopolymères fibreux ainsi
que la cristallographie des petites protéines.
Fonctions : Vous aurez les missions suivantes:
développer un programme de recherche en cristallographie chimique ou macromoléculaire, en
collaboration avec la communauté des utilisateurs
apporter un support aux utilisateurs pour les expériences scientifiques sur le diffractomètre D19
participer au développement et à la maintenance du diffractomètre D19
promouvoir le programme de diffraction monocristaux de l'ILL dans le domaine de
cristallographie biologique et chimique.
Formation et expérience :
Doctorat en chimie, physique, biophysique ou équivalent
Expérience en tant que doctorant ou post-doctorant dans le domaine de la cristallographie
chimique/macromoléculaire ou en biophysique, utilisant les neutrons et/ou les rayons X
Une expérience des différentes approches de la croissance de monocristaux de petites
molécules ou de systèmes biologiques serait un atout.
Connaissances linguistiques: Le caractère international de notre centre de recherche nous amène à
accorder une attention particulière aux candidatures provenant également d'autres pays que la
France. De bonnes connaissances en français et en anglais sont requises. Des connaissances en
allemand seraient un atout.
Observations : Contrat à durée déterminée : 5 ans.
