Through educational activities, inside as well as outside, the campers will learn about Vanier’s heritage. HOURS Camp begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., on Wednesdays. A Childcare Service is available from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., if necessary. Please make sure to drop off your child before 9 a.m., to avoid time conflicts. A: Most of the activities will be outside, in the Richelieu Park. Some activities will be inside, in the sugar shack or in one of the designated rooms in the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre. Q: How many counselors will there be? A: The counselor-camper ratio is of 7 campers for one counselor. The number of counselors depends on the number of registered campers. Q: What will the children do if it rains? A: If it is only raining a bit and the kids are dressed for rainy days, the activities will take place outside. A: If your child has allergies or any other medical condition, please make sure to warn the counselor so that we may take preventative measures.
